The line is always insane. Never again.

With all the jokes and jovial conversation, the employees seem to enjoy their job and that’s great BUT you’re still at WORK and need to focus; I just love wasting my time being the first customer in line with 6 people behind me, then having my order be completely FORGOTTEN. Only to finally receive my coffee 15mins later because apparently, my cup/order label was placed on a different counter and NO ONE saw it. Bravo!

I can’t get enough of the staff at this location and how well they treat, not only me, but my fellow customers when I’m visiting! They always keep the right vibes and awesome sonic energy in the shop! #chefskiss

Scones and cookies are very good but iced americano is so weak. I’ve tried it multiple times and always watered down. Get a latte or straight coffee but skip the americano

Back in April my fiancé and I brought friends from out of town to Alfred to try before a long road trip. Unfortunately when we went to eat our food we had several issues. My friend’s breakfast burrito was made incorrectly, missing some items and my bagel was so hard I couldn’t take a bite without hurting my teeth. I basically threw the whole thing away because I didn’t want to crack a tooth, which left me hungry for the trip. This was pretty disappointing considering we were already on the road so we couldn’t go back. I’m not sure what happened that day because I come here all the time and it’s usually great! Maybe the kitchen was overwhelmed?

Very disappointing. Tastes like they get their burritos from the gas station, and coffees from the slurpy factory. Their ‘world famous’ cloudy/foam one is quite frankly pure sugar!

Also, the Staff seemed overwhelmed - and that they ‘knew the issues’…..

You know when you see the ‘tell’ reaction of the staff RE when you ask about an issue with the service? In this case it was could we ‘hold the potatoes’ in the burrito and also why they had run out of everything other than steak burrito at 8.30am already (!?!?). They weren’t able with either as they pre make the burritos obviously the night before (not fresh).

Even the staff know it’s a poor set up, and you know it’s a poor set up and so they give you that ‘half sorry/half I know it’s a dumb AF situation’ grimace.

Coffee was also stood there for ten mins - had asked if it was mine as I first saw it there and they said it wasn’t….

Really underwhelming experience had much higher hopes.

I tried the new Wake n' Lake burrito at Alfred’s, but it was disappointing—the tortilla was stale, and the burrito itself just didn’t taste good.

Plus, $8.50 for a latte feels way overpriced!

I can fully confirm this place is hype.

$30 for a coffee and burrito…..
