Visited today and will most definitely not be returning. Aside from food that wasnt fresh and mediocre service, Within an hour of leaving the restaurant my entire group has gotten sick. I wish I had seem the reviews about getting sick after eating here to save my time and money.

Eel was good but cost $65. Lobster was plain and cost $60. Other dishes not remarkable. Spent over $200 for 3 for a mediocre meal.
The best food you can ever eat in LA, I went to other places spent 3 times the amount was not as good. Owner was very friendly and showed us how to operate the grill, highly recommended.

Absolutely disappointing experience.
If you’re wondering how this place can offer ayce steak and sushi for only $25, keep reading.
First of all, the restaurant smells awful, like it hasn’t been cleaned in months. It was genuinely hard to sit through the meal because of the odor. Second, they add a 14% service fee and another 4% card fee, which is outrageous. For two people, the bill came to $67 without tip, which means about $33 per person for what was easily one of the worst meals I’ve ever had.
The food was inedible. We ordered brisket, steak, and sushi everything tasted terrible. The sushi was greasy, the rice smelled off, and the meat was dry chewy and unappetizing. I literally had to force myself to eat just so I wouldn’t be charged extra for leaving food behind.
Do yourself a favor, skip this place and spend an extra $10 somewhere that actually serves decent food

It's advertised as $25, but there's a 14% service charge. I think there are quite a few people who don't know this.
It's $25+14%+Tax+Tip.
(Credit card payment +4%)
Make sure to check the price.
I found out when I paid.
I don't think I can say that the food quality is good for the price.
I'll add it to the response to the review you wrote.
Not everyone visits after seeing the website.
I'm just telling you about the problems with the price display that I personally felt.
I've written my first review because there's information about the 14% service charge in other posts.
Please think about it from the customer's perspective...
Or, I think it would be better to advertise the price as $25 plus 14% instead of exactly $25.
I'll add it again to the response to the review.
What I said was that it would be good to reorganize the price display to reduce such confusion. And from the beginning, they gave me a bill with a mandatory 14% service charge added and a ballpoint pen to check the tip.
Usually, in this situation, the tip % is calculated.
I reviewed the situation I experienced, and if you look at other reviews, you can find articles about the 14% service charge.
If it were a normal calculation method, there would be no need to explain it separately on the website.
There would not have been an article about the 14% service charge in the review either.
Isn't it because it is different from the normal calculation method that you explained it separately on the website?
It is clearly not normal.
And I don't understand the explanation from the manager. Why does he decide the tip that goes to the employee?
It is difficult to understand in many ways.
I hope the complicated calculation method is improved.
Please think from the customer's perspective once again...
I can see the company's service mind from the comments.
It's a shame to give even one star.
I hope my review was helpful to many people.
If you are a tourist or an international student, you probably don't work anywhere, right?

hands down my favorite AYCE kbbq spot in ktown - the food, the service, the staff are all so awesome. the manager jin is especially kind and funny, and he’s incredibly welcoming. he always takes care of myself and my friends (even when they come in without me😂) you also CANNOT beat the price, insane deal that you simply won’t find better than. not to mention, cheap soju!!!
