Everything about this place was absolutely horrible. First off, we had the most rude and worst server ever. He was going to initially kick a party of 7 out because ONE person wasn't ordering a drink. We were ordering food, drinks, and hookah for the table, and he said everyone had to order something. The restaurant was empty too. We ordered water and were not brought water in almost 90 minutes of sitting there. In fact in that 90 minutes, only once did the server come by. We asked for water again, and were not brought water. Then at the end, we had to get up and go pay the bill because the server was completely ignoring us. When I got the bill, he asked me how things were, and I said "I never got my water", and he said it was busy (It was not busy and we saw the server hanging around talking to co workers all night) and asked me to leave a tip. I left a small 10% tip, only to find out later (through a picture of the receipt) that they included a gratuity charge in the bill alone. This place is tacky and sleezy. There are far better hookah lounges in LA to spend money at, don't bother with these a-holes.

This was a pretty decent restaurant with good hookah selections. I had their chicken shawarma with fries. They were ok. Nice outdoor seating area for hookah as well. Wish it was more ventilated though.

$35 for a low end hookah, overpriced + average-tasting food, which would not be considered “fine,” and rude waiting staff do not make sense.Come here to be ignored. I don’t know how I ended up here 3 times, all not good experiences. The hummus is really good though.

Have portion sizes gotten smaller? This is one full skewer cut in half. All the photos online are at least 1/3 bigger. Very underwhelmed and unimpressed

Almaza was a whole VIBE! Such great good, free wifi and hookahs! I had the lamb and it was too much food for one person. Wonderful place to work remotely and amazing service. There is a parking lot on the backside of the restaurant that was pretty busy. I loved the lamb!!! I will definitely be back.

This is hands down my favorite hookah spot in SoCal! The food, dessert, and hookah offerings are all superb. Whether it's unwinding after work or getting some work done, this place is perfect. Plus, the service is always exceptional.
