Los Angeles County Alternate Public Defender

A legal issue came up from four years ago when I lived in California. I had to fly back to face that music unexpectedly. Los Angeles Alternate Public Defender, Firass Halawi, was earnest and effective in presenting evidence to the representative of the state that I had grown considerably as a citizen. ADP Halawi wasted no time determining what proof I presented to him that would “plead my case” the best. ADO Halawi submitted that evidence quickly and professionally to the agent for the prosecution (forgive me, I do not recall her name or title) who requested all charges be dropped against me “in the interest of justice.” The judge accepted the prosecution’s motion and all charges were dismissed. Thank you, ADP Firass Halawi for helping me when I as I did not have the time or resources to hire an expensive Los Angeles attorney before appearing in court. I am not qualified to rate Los Angeles ADPs individually, but I can report that ADP Halawi is working to help his clients ADP Halawi showed no sign of “judging me” before defending me in the courtroom. I truly received a a true legal defense thanks to ADP Firass Halawi.
