Outstanding appetizer and pasta dishes. Our server was extremely knowledgeable about menu and wine offerings. He was attentive but not too attentive.

If you like authentic Italian food, this is a really good place to try. My first time and I was impressed with the cheese bowl twist. My alfredo dish was flavorful and I paired it with a perfectly cooked cut of salmon. Try this place out you will not be disappointed.

Amante Restaurant was an amazing experience the food was outstanding and delicious. The prices are modest and worth it. The service was also excellent very kind and friendly. I went for my birthday and they took the time to offer me a birthday dessert. I will definitely come back again.

Service was fairly slow on a Monday evening, which was very surprising. It took us a while to get water and even longer for a waiter to come take our order. However, the food we ordered was excellent and well worth the price! I would say this is a very affordable Italian restaurant that is great for larger parties, or even for a first date. The age group in this restaurant was highly variable, with people in their early 20s to late 40s.

We really enjoyed our meal from start to finish. The fresh pasta was handmade and perfectly cooked. The ossobuco was outstanding: fork-tender, rich, and easily some of the best I've ever had. Service was attentive and friendly without feeling rushed, and the whole place had a lively, fun energy. With a violinist playing in the background and great drinks in hand, it felt like a special night out.

I honestly loved the whole atmosphere at the restaurant. The food was delicious; the pasta is fresh and made right there. The pasta served in the cheese wheel was excellent, and the drinks were good too. My only complaint is that they didn't have enough beer. I ordered the Italian beer Peroni, and they only had two bottles. I wish there had been more! I hope to go back soon; I loved the experience. Many thanks to the staff at Amante Restaurant.

Service was horrible and they lied about the menu. We specifically went for the cheese wheel for a birthday and drove two hours because that's what they advertised, only to learn they pick and choose when they bring it out. They told us they discontinued it, only to find out they in fact do do it and did for the table next to us 45 minutes after we ordered and ate.

Amante was amazing! The vibe was modern and trendy. The service was quick and kind. The food was the best part!!! The truffle pasta was to die for. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a nice night out and yummy Italian food. Additionally the drinks were good. They served wines/ beer.

My new favorite restaurant in LA! Walking distance to the Orpheum. Both the service and the food was excellent and reasonably priced. Beautiful tall ceilings and nicely decorated. The only thing that could be improved is you cannot have mixed drinks on the restaurant side of the business only on the bar side which is puzzling because it's all one establishment. Still a top-notch destination.

The food was great and the waiters were very nice and attentive, but I noticed my sister and I were treated differently from the other patrons. When I made this reservation, I did check off “birthday” on the occasion section of the reservation . Before we received our food I noticed that across the restaurant there was a table who got some sort of celebratory song/claps from the waiters, and I was under the impression we would get the same service since we were there celebrating my sister‘s birthday . We did not. Her birthday was not even brought up. Then, when my sister ordered the chef special, we were told that the chef would come table side to prepare her pasta. I believed that because the table right behind us ordered the same special my sister did, and the chef was at their table and prepared their pasta table side. When it was my sister's turn I noticed the chef did not come out like our waiter said he would to make the pasta table side. Instead my sister's special was made by a waiter named Pasha instead of the chef. I did not like that at all. Her pasta wasn't even plated as nicely as the other tables.
