Great place to experience some new flavor combos. Service was top notch, but for us the flavors were a little dull. Maybe a case of having too high of expectations going in, but the street corn pasta dish was very underwhelming. We wouldn’t have known what it was going for. Again, food was still delicious, maybe worth another shot to try the rest of the menu.

Lovely neighborhood spot that is an interesting blend of Mexican and Italian. Dishes made thoughtfully. Small plate concept - - even the pastas are small. Highlights were the sweet potato ceviche and Carne en Su Jugo. Service was attentive and warm. Decor is cozy. Reservations recommended.Parking: We had an early dinner so parking wasn't difficult but it gets worse later.

I was utterly disappointed by the so-called Mexican-Italian fusion restaurant. To begin with, the host informed us of a 20-minute wait, only to seat us outdoors a whopping 44 minutes later under two flimsy carport canopies held together by bungee cords. The entire setup looked tacky and rundown, to put it mildly. Our order was taken by a young lady in a green t-shirt and jeans. We tried the Cafe de la olla, which was diluted and poorly prepared, and the horchata, which was essentially 4 ounces of rice water drowned in 85% ice and priced at an outrageous $13. The profit margins for the restaurant must be through the roof with such practices. Moving on to the food, the Brussel sprouts were decent, but the sweet potato ceviche was a disaster. It contained some crunchy bits in a watery crema, with flavorless and off-putting layers. The pamzerotti was essentially an oversized, undercooked empanada filled with chorizo and potatoes that lacked any discernible taste. The aguachile was a far cry from authentic, tasting like a sad and uninspiring version compared to what one might find from a street vendor in Mexico City. My carne en su jugo arrived almost an hour after ordering, made with braised beef that was inexplicably accompanied by only three pinto beans in the sauce. The so-called "Italian tortilla" turned out to be nothing more than a flour tortilla from a common brand. This establishment feels like a pretentious joke catered to hipsters, showing little respect for the dedication and passion that real chefs put into their creations. The exorbitant prices on the menu only confirm that profit is the main priority here.

Absolutely amazing brunch! Highlights for our group were definitely the elote croissant, sweet potato ceviche and pancakes. Also, all the drinks were delicious (don’t miss out on the pistachio horchata!!) They were unfortunately sold out of the carbonara raviolo, but I guess that just means we’ll have to come back!

We were disappointed with our dining experience. We came for brunch. We started off with elote croissant and sweet bread. That was pretty good and fresh. My partner ordered a latte and it had multiple pieces of hair in the coffee. She was pretty grossed out. They were friendly to change out with just a regular coffee, however, no one came to check on us or even apologize. We also noticed they checked every table except for ours. And maybe they were embarrassed or just didn’t notice we were there. Not sure. For our dishes we got chilaquiles and a breakfast sandwich. My partner enjoyed her sandwich. My chilaquiles were cold and mediocre. Both eggs were just too slimy and maybe being pregnant just creeped meOut. Overall the food was just ok. I am sure the regular menu is great just wouldn’t recommend the brunch.

Very well balanced fusion restaurant! The star of the show was the aguachile. It came out first and was incredible. We also tried the clams/chorizo in broth, the poached lobster, and the duck pasta. All were nice but a touch too salty and ended up being quite heavy. It may just be hard to follow up the aguachile! Got a couple cocktails and they were delicious and well balanced. The space is quite small, not mobility device accessible, with outside seating that accommodates larger groups. Fun dish concepts, execution may need fine tuning. Street parking only.

Went to treat myself here, and I didn't have a reservation. They sat me in the bar, which had no room at all; you're bumping elbows with the person next to you & nowhere to set your bag. I didn't like the service because the bartender was entertaining/engaging with the people next to me. Considering that the kitchen would serve it one at a time, the bartender advised to order all at once -- it still came all together! It felt as tho I had to rush my first course to make room for the next dish. I got full way too fast, didn't get to enjoy my second dish, and took it to go.The food was amazing don't get me wrong. I highly recommend the Guajllo Poached Lobster!!

The food was delicious! We order the noprese salad, chorizo and clam, and elote agnolotti and black ink linguini. We ordered too much food and couldn’t finish everything. If you’re ordering for two, I think 3 dishes is perfect! The elote was a surprising delight. It’s almost like a sweet/ savory dish. Really nice. The noprese is lovely as well and a little on the spicy side so if you like the heat, you’ll enjoy this. I was way too full by the time with black ink linguini came out but it was delicious and hard to remember because I was so stuffed by that time. The clams are a must! Service was really nice and I loved the cute little Back area with the heated lamps. Really cozy and warm. I would come back.

Whoever was in charge of the playlist did an amazing job! Not only was the service and food great, they had good taste in music. Perfect fusion of Mexican/Italian dishes, must try the ceviche, endive salad, spaghetti fritti and elote agnilotti . Chef's

I love to see creative dishes where chefs take risks. You can really see that the people here take pride in their work. Bravo. ?

The portions were small and our main dish (chicken mole) was very dry. I also expected more for the atmosphere based on pictures. I would recommend the aguachile, but personally don't plan on going

I can't say enough great things about Amiga. I'd give 6 stars if possible. The chef even took the time to come over and provide one of the dishes. I can't speak to just one dish In particular, because everything is so good. The dishes were so expertly arranged that they were as beautiful to look at as they were delicious to eat. I'm definitely coming back. It gets pretty busy, so reservations would probably be recommended.

The Chef(s) of this restaurant have great training and credentials.I was very disappointed and left unsatisfied for a few reasons. When the food finally started coming out I was a bit disappointed with the food portions. Small portions, but my first thought was it will be made up in flavor. First to come out of the kitchen was the sweet potato ceviche and the elote agnolotti. Both were quite good, small portions but at this point all was good. Then the disappointments came in one after the other.Next to come out was the chicken and mole. The chicken was overcooked and dry. By itself, the chicken was flavorless. The mole which was a dollop of sorts on the side was nothing like any mole I have every experienced. I am willing to try anything and when I slowly put a tiny taste in my mouth without any chicken I was left speechless and not with satisfaction. I tried it again with some chicken which I had to be careful as there was again only a dollop of this so called mole on the plate. So I wanted it to last but quite frankly I already knew there wouldn't be enough. The fork with chicken and mole entered my mouth and confirmed my initial thought that this was not going to be great. It was barely good together and for $31.00 I couldn't trick my brain into thinking it was worth the money. The menu mentions citrus and there was. There was one slice of mandarin. Then came out the fish dish which I do not remember what it was called and today it is not on the menu as I write this review. In any case it was a nice portion but again, dry and flavorless. The potatoes that it came with were okay but how bad can you make a potato? The sauce the fish came with was again someones experiment and quite frankly not very tasty. Again, I couldn't trick my brain into liking it for $35.00.Then came the big surprise, a 4% kitchen charge. I now can see that it is clearly written on the face of the menu in a very small font and in a color that makes it difficult to read. All in all, this restaurant left me disappointment, unsatisfied and wishful that I hadn't spent $180.00 for three people. The breakfast menu looks good as it is described as was the dinner menu but I am not willing to give it a try considering the descriptions do not resemble anything similar to what is familiar to anyone. The mole was not mole, the ceviche was just potato. So take my advice, it doesn't taste bad, it just is not very good and most definitely in the case of the dinner menu costs it is not worth your time or money. In regards to my two star rating for the service. This is based on waiting for about 10 minutes for the drinks, another 25 minutes for food and only two minutes for the bill.Parking: Street parking only

We got the recommendation from a friend's friend so we were very curious about this place before we made the reservation and went there. Parking is a little hard so really take your time to find the street parking. We made the reservation and arrived there 5mins before our reservation. Still take 15 mins until we got the table. The menu was very small but easy to navigate and make the decisions. It's Mexican and Italian mixed restaurant so a lot of interesting choices. We had the pasta, mole and some other appetizers. They were good enough. The service was very good. Very friendly.
