Not there being a huge fly in the pastry case and the girl at the register saying “yeah, they’re really hard to catch” 😭😭😭
Fave coffee for years, but in light of staff indifference to flies making their stead in the pan au chocolate, one can posit there may be other shortcomings to this establishment not immediately evident 👁️

Beautiful space, friendly service, and the best cold brew in the city. I took my camera here yesterday. The light is so nice, there’s usually always a table. The baristas remembered my order! Parking can be hard but it’s worth it. My new spot!

This place is the coffee shop for coffee drinkers. They have really great simple coffee drinks, but their service is a bit lacking.

The Andante specialty drink tastes like the cappuccino blast from Baskin Robins without the ice cream. It’s also oat milk based - So good!

Constantly busy throughout the day, but I loved the spot and the ambiance. As always, nothing beat free flow of natural lighting, and despite the fact that I couldn’t spot any power plug, there are tables suitable for working. Prolly also for the best so people don’t stay for too long!
I got their Andante, which was their house specialty cold brew sweetened with maple syrup and got its creaminess from the cream top. Smart idea for adding that pinch of pink salt on top, giving that fun mix of sweet and salty. In love!

If LA was the type of market were the best coffee wins, everyone would be going here.
They roast it in the same room they serve it, like all the best coffee spots in the world. Drinks are executed perfectly and revolve around the coffee, Unlike many shops that revolve around the additives.
If you are looking for a true coffee experience, something like you would find at Café Trieste in San Francisco or in actual Trieste, this is it.

I had a hot, dirty chai, and it was absolutely spot on—rich, smooth, and with just the right amount of spice. The place isn’t huge, but it’s well laid out, has a loo, and the customer service was first-rate. It's a good spot to get a bit of work done with a laptop, though seating is somewhat limited. All in all, it's well worth a visit!

Among the signature menu items, I recommend Andante, which has the same name as the store.

This coffee shop is a hidden gem! The chic and simple design creates a cozy yet modern vibe that’s perfect for relaxing or catching up on work. Their commitment to quality is evident in their in-house coffee roasting, which fills the space with a heavenly aroma. I tried the mocha, and it was hands-down one of the best I’ve ever had—perfectly balanced with rich chocolate and smooth espresso. A must-visit for coffee lovers looking for a place that combines style, quality, and great taste!
