I don’t live near here but I try to stop in and grab a couple donuts and a coffee whenever I can. It’s a small little shop but for less than $10 I can get two soft and sweet donuts and a cup of coffee. I consider this a hidden gem since there’s loads of hipster coffee shops a stones throw away but this place deserves more notoriety. Keep it simple but they make it great. These are the kinda places I love in LA. Not a secret but it feels like one. 🤍
Amazing food but expect the prices to never be the same. I come here ever Saturday for almost a year now and ever week it is a different price. I get there’s an egg demand right now as well but 4$ extra for an egg that already comes on a sandwich at a price of 7.99 sandwich is now inflated to 9.35 before they charge tax on to your sandwich. If you like great tasting food with hidden fees, this is the place for you. I’ll be looking for a new breakfast spot
This was my favorite restaurant I visited in my visit to L.A.! I'm going to be chasing the high of the lox bagel for years to come - maybe it's the midwesterner in me but I never thought to put jalapeños under lox, capers, onion, and tomato, but it worked SO WELL. And I also had a cute lil donut with a banana slice on the top, so charming! The staff here were also so nice and recognized me as I came in morning after morning.
