This place was recommended so we tried the houjicha marron shaved ice (roasted tea flavor) and we are not disappointed. Perfectly fine shaved ice, so fluffy. Perfectly right amount of sweetness. There is a layer ice cream inside, not just the shaved ice. We loved it. Good to share by more than two people.
Street parking is a bit difficult to find.
They take forever to bring out the order. I waited 22 minutes for an iced americano and still waiting (29 minutes and counting…) for a mango shaved ice. That’s not acceptable. I think it’ll be good to hire more help and get more equipment.
They were closed.
The Hojicha Cloud was so good, I took a sip and then immediately sat it down to take a photo so I could recommend it. The creamy topping and the toasty Hojicha flavor is exceptional. The store is also great place to hang out, get some work done, read a book.
Coffee-specific review: One of the better coffees I’ve had in a while. Well-pulled espresso shots and delicious choice of coffee roast. The brown sugar miso latte is tastefully done, and allows the coffee to be the star of the drink. Will definitely be back for more coffee and to try the bingsoo!

Guys, my heart is broken. They discontinued the bingsoo. I know, I can't believe it either.
But as of November 6th, at least to my knowledge, bingsoo is not available.
Please let the people know when this comes back.!
But honestly, what IS SO HARD ABOUT MAKING BINGSOOOOOO 😓

No longer served bingsoo (shaved ice) which is the main thing they were known for. Hope you bring it back someday!

A lovely and modern shop with excellent matcha lattes.
FYI that they no longer serve the shaved ice desserts, which is originally why I came. Opt for something else on menu though as it’s creative and delicious.
They had THE best shaved ice in koreatown.
I went back with my husband when we saw they opened up again. We were literally broken hearted to see they had stopped selling shaved ice.
Their taiyaki is also really really good.

A truly unique experience! Even while crowded the order was efficiently delivered to us. Overall enjoyable and I strongly recommend going at least once.
Vegetarian options: It’s mostly ice and fruit so you can’t go wrong
Kid-friendliness: All the food is super cute and sweet!

Wonderful Coffeeshop! Unfortunately, they no longer serve Shaved Ice, which I originally planned to get.
However, they do Smoothies instead.
I got a Matcha + Cream Smoothie, and it was delicious!
I will return for the smoothie but I hope Shaved Ice will be back on the menu too! ?
Customer Service is overall incredible: kind, polite and caring!
Thank you so much for your amazing hospitality!
