L picked us up at the metro station and we had lunch with L at Antigua Bread – a Mexican restaurant. This time we had the highly recommended Chilaquiles con carne ($18.95) with chicken and over medium eggs as well as the Ultimate Antigua Breakfast ($18.95) with steak and sunny side up eggs. Ice Horchata latte ($6) accompanied our meal. All of the food were excellent. Portion was huge as well. Love it that the chilaquiles had some heat to it with all the aromas from the fresh...
I’m all about supporting the small business and their food is good, but the resturant needs cleaning dude!! May be wipe your tables more often so they won’t feel dirty and sticky when you eat your food there?
The tamales were ok… the pork tamal was too salty and the chuchito was lacking flavor. I had the sandwich Chapin too and the potatoes were to salty. I’m been to Guatemala and honestly I didn’t taste the Guatemalan authenticity. It’s an okay restaurant.
