I order from here at least once a month during Antonio's and have never been disappointed! Their food comes nicely packaged and it's one of my favorite Mexican places!! Simple and delicious!
Antonio and Many are the last gentlemen left on melrose. This place is a neighborhood staple, this is what you get: Sunday’s only and it’s not on the menu pumpkin chicken.amazing WOW. And I don’t like pumpkin
Cozy atmosphere and authentic Mexican dishes
I wish I could give it a lower rating but I can’t . This is the most foul food I ate in my life. I wouldn’t invite roaches to eat here . Avoid this place and save your money.
Great, authentic cuisine from Monterey Mexico elevated to more than just the typical fare. A standard in Hollywood for decades. The mole is as good as it was 30 years ago. I love this place!!!
I would rate this restaurant higher if I could. The atmosphere, food, drinks, and service was impeccable and I will be returning every time I visit Los Angeles.
Best Mexican restaurant east of the 405! The margaritas are BEYOND! Get the chicken mole and a classic marg - it will make your night. Ill be back again for sure and Im happy to have found this Hollywood gem for Mexican food!!!
Absolute worst restaurant experience ever. The food was subpar but the service was even more awful. The waiter never checked on us the whole time there. I asked for a soda refill 3 times and they never came back with one. When I got the bill, I asked to take the amount off the bill and the waiter started swearing at me in front of other clients and the teenage boys that were will us. No apologies and I didn't want to mess with it so just paid for the drink. It gets worse. The other adult with me was told his card was declined after they swiped it twice. The online bank statement showed the amount went thru (real time). The waiter started arguing with us, cussing and making a scene. He even threatened to call the cops.Shocker. 2 days later, the second charge is on the card. Avoid at all costs. Extremely rude and the food was subpar.
Coffee tasted like it was made in the morning. Food was fresh but nothing special for the price.
There's nothing particularly special about this restaurant, which is I think why I love it so much. The staff are nice, the food predictable, the atmosphere always welcoming. This used the be my top late lunch/early dinner pick whenever I was in the area. Sending good vibes!

Avoid this restaurant at all costs! A group of five friends and myself wanted to celebrate our friends birthday and waited outside for nearly two hours before being seated, then, after being seated, no waiter could be found to put in our order. We ordered margaritas and after another 45 minutes of waiting, we received alcohol-free juice in margarita glasses, and instead of wanting to wait even longer to receive correctly made margaritas, we just ordered shots of tequila to put in our own drinks. The shots took another 45 minutes. After a total of over 3 hours, we finally received our food, which was mediocre to say the least. After scarfing down our overcooked steaks and sloppy, bland burritos, we hurriedly gave our waiter our credit cards to be split, which took an additional 25 minutes. The staff, however slow and scarce, were friendly though.. except for the gentleman that kept trying to take my plate 10 minutes after he set it in front of me. We waited all those hours just for the waiter to attempt to take our plates minutes after setting them down (because by this point they had been closed for 20 minutes). I would never ever recommend this place to a loved one, an acquaintance, or even an enemy. Nobody deserves to go through what we endured at Antonio's.
I ordered cheese enchiladas. Three large cheese enchiladas with lots of cheese. Yummy! Also had rice and beans included. The owner , Irma was really nice too. Anyways, if you get to this part of LA, check them out...they have been in LA a really long time.. for a reason.
The food was perfect, portions very big and excellent service. Marguerita was large in size as well as very strong. With birthday parties and quiet diners, the room was bustling.
The pictures turned out to be very nice and came with a quality frame of Matt. This will definitely become my favorite Mexican restaurant in the region!
Great food , but staff was a bit rude. We are back after the pandemic and I’m guessing everyone’s tense and scared to mess up but I have kids and honestly I get it some places just aren’t for kids but we were hungry and decided to come here. I mean maybe everyone is just in some kind of mood. Good thing the manager and waiter fixed their posture once they noticed how uncomfortable they made us feel for having a toddler that wasn’t as crazy as they thought. Anywho never judge a book by its front cover specially if they are here to eat ... let me eat first.
