Tried this spot based on a recommendation from some friends and it did not disappoint! Really enjoyed the square pie slices and the chewy crumb. The sweet and spicy contrast in the pepperoni, burrata, and hot honey slice was such a unique and addictive flavor. It’s been a few days and not going to lie I am thinking about when I’m coming back already.

Not sure why everyone is hyping this place up so much to be frank with you . Loved the squad in there and everyone who keeps this place afloat (which somehow I struggled to see how they managed this) but the food is a total miss. Maybe there are a few things that just need some spontaneous rearrangement ?, but I wish things ended up better than they did. I had very high hopes for this spot and was severely disappointed. Definitely will not be coming back as not only the fact did I get food poisoning from undercooked pork from this establishment but one of my pizzas also had raw dough ??Sad to say but this is a disgrace to any pizza joint that is at this caliber.

Stopped here before attending the Animation Festival in Hollywood. The pizza was delicious, and the service was great. It gets a little crowded, probably due to where it's located, but they still got our pizza out 25 minutes from ordering. We ordered the plain cheese, and the pizza is thin but not cracker thin and was not greasy at all. We did have to drive about 10 minutes to find a place to eat the pizza, which cooled it down bit, but even still, the pizza was fantastic. I would definitely stop by again when in the LA area.

A symphony of rich flavors. The thick square crust has an amazing texture. It's crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside!

one of the best if the best thin crispy pizzas I've had in LA. ordered the venustiano and it was incredibly delishcious. the wait is long if you go to order so recommend online orders and just picking up. I have over an hour but it was worth it for me. looking forward to next time

Apollonia's Pizzeria was on the top of my 'must try' list for some time but every time I planned to go, I wound up pushing back my visit. I finally got to try them out. They are often considered one of the top pizza places in the city and now I can add my voice to their well-deserved praise. This place rocks!
They have thin crust slices and Detroit slices as well as whole pies. If you order online, it looks like they only offer thin crust so be aware of that. I went in and placed my order because I wanted to try their Detroit style.
I had a pepperoni slice, a pancetta slice, and one of the signature combos, the Acapulco Gold. Each one was packed with delicious flavor. The Acapolco gold was distinct and unique. The bed of lettuce on top was fun and the flavors were garlicky and cheesy. The pepperoni and pancetta were also fantastic. I would order all three again.
The shop is take-out with a few counters if you want to eat there. The crew was fast, efficient and friendly. I believe they are busy the moment they open until they close and they deserve all the love but be aware you may need to wait a bit after you order. The decor is colorful and eclectic. Their logo, a panther, is growling at everyone who walks in the door and is on top of all their pizza boxes.
There are two friendly warnings for Apollonia's. They are a cash only place and their parking is particularly bad. They are right in the heart of the major Wilshire Metro project so if you are reading in 2026 or later, it will be better. The lot is tiny and all the shops seem to be busy causing a gridlock in their lot. I parked on the street nearby.

Their square slides with pepperoni are so delish!! It is a take out place (or you can eat there but only standing) and only accepts cash - friendly staff!
