This is not your typical restaurant, so be prepared for it. The rolls are very good, even though they don't have many options and you are not allowed to swap out the fish in the set menu, even if lower price. Very limited selection of drinks and sides. However, the food is good and simple.

The restaurant is extremely high end. It's a tempura house in Beverly Hills. This restaurant will put a dent in your wallet or purse but it's worth it. There's nothing really like this in Los Angeles. You'll be saving yourself a flight to japan.

It is a very cool place to eat, price is reasonable for such quality. I will def8Nitely go again.

Small portions, decent taste. Also, its a no cash policy, second when using a credit card this dining "art and Fish" restaurant recorded as "Venus Chinese Restaurant" and coded as a Petroleum Merchant per Chase therefore did not get the correct amount of points.

What a hidden gem! The fish was fresh. The seating is very simple but spacious. No frills menu. Order at the cashier but the quality was pretty good! Not a fan of how much disposable dishware they have though.

This sushi place feels like one of those people that are really talented and amazing, but are so humble, down-to-earth, and really chill. The humble type that are more curious in your life than sharing about theirs, but the more you get to know them you find that they're a pro in every aspect. Yeah this is the place. Atmosphere - hipster-casual, spacious, clean Service - friendly, serve yourself kind of place Parking - you got it. There's a lot, wow! Neighborhood - on the cool side of arts district, next to Zinc and Blue bottle. - Fresh market price sushi The salmon and bluefin, my usuals are good (thumbs up!!). They also have some daily specials for fresh market sushi. The price is pretty good in general and you betcha they're fresh. Thanks to this place I got to try new fish too :) like amberjack and mackarel. Their chirashi bowls are popular too, but they are too large for my normal lunch size. It'd be awesome if there was a smaller/cheaper kids size haha. My favorite thing ever here was: - UNI SOUP (daily special) 6/5 golden stars was soooo good. It's miso soup... But with CHUNKS OF UNI. I had like 5+ spoonfuls of creamy uni. Is this uni cereal???? (I mean it in the best way) And all for like $6? Felt like a winner with every bite.

sushi and the scene here is quality. Got there about three, it wasn't crowded. Prices were fair for the quality of the food. Similar to a place in Denver I liked.

Man I have walked by this place so many times on my way to Zinc Cafe but never was able to try it because it was always on the weekend. I finally got to try it on a Thursday and I am beyond impressed. The prices are steep (especially for a place that serves everything in plastic to go containers) but the taste and freshness makes you forget that the waste from your meal is filling up the landfills. I hope they recycle their plastic.... Uni was $9 a piece and ikura was $5. The uni was the sweetest and freshest I have ever had. The ikura was also extremely fresh tasting but it had sort of a strong taste of sake or some sort of alcohol. I didn't hate it but next time I would double up on the uni and forego the ikura. Don't sleep on the bento box! It's $16.50 but it comes with so many things: a scoop of crab, seaweed salad, eel, five slices of sashimi, three pieces of sushi, and a rice ball. Also I have no idea what micawater is, but they advertise their free fruit infused water as micawater and it's pretty tasty.

very good quality fish, if you really like sashimi/sushi. Although the menu may have only a few options, that's enough to represent super fine quality service and food!

This tasted more fresh than any sushi I've ever had.

Decent sushi in a really minimal atmosphere. Art district prices however.

my little oasis down in the arts district. the FRESHEST fish and WARMEST staff. You can really feel all the quality, flavor, and care in each dish they serve. OBSESSED!

Really high quality fish, its located directly next to the fish market. Fresh fish flown daily from Japan. The halibut, uni, and Ikura were INSANE. In a town where pretty much everyone uses the same supplier, this one stands out. Not to mention how nice everyone is. Super happy for this neighborhood gem.
