I was braced for typical Los Angels and Vine b.s. when I arrived here last night for a friend's birthday celebration, but I was pleasantly surprised to walk in to AC/DC's "You Shook Me All Night Long" as opposed to, say, trance techno music. After circling the vicinity like a hawk on the quest for parking, I ended up paying the $5 valet, which was fine. The happy hour is excellent. Our server, who said she only works on Fridays, was super congenial and funny (and more importantly, prompt). The decor is cool. I had a pizza on wheat and I was pleasantly surprised once again, especially with the sauce. Check it!

Lovely rooftop bar! Great atmosphere, amazing views of LA! We came on a Saturday around 7pm after our dinner at mrs fish downstairs (which was amazing also) and it wasn't packed at all! I wanted wine but wasn't sure which to choose and the bartender gave me some generous pours of each to taste. My boyfriend got the penicillin cocktail which I really liked as well. Overall, it's pretty chill place to spend your Saturday night
