One word: SPICY! If you want some food with a kick this is definitely the place to go. Fairly simple meals but lots of flavors. The items with the curry or the Vietnamese hot chicken were not joking about their hotness. It was right on the precipice of my tolerance level (but still quite good) The other thing I would note is the cilantro and greens are very fresh and very flavorful. Quite a nice treat after living somewhere without the fresh produce of California. Service and ambiance are moot points. The venue works out of a kitchen giving you to-go boxes with most of the seating being outside in the common area for multiple venues. Great for a quick bite though

I was so impressed with my lunch today! I tried the Workout ( Six-Spice Chicken, Brown Rice, Extra Pickled Veggies, Bean Sprouts) and my husband got the Steak & Curry ( Garlic-Soy Steak, Spicy Red Coconut Curry, Potatoes, Carrots, Fresh Herbs, Peanuts). We both finished our whole plates and were so impressed with the quality of the food and the short amount of time it took to receive it. Our waitress was sweet and helpful. Very good service, good menu ... not overly extensive. Food was very good quality all around. They know how to prepare! Prices were reasonable. I had a great experience at Asian box! The food was fantastic, the service was beautiful, and the perfect atmosphere. I will be back soon!

Good portions, great flavor, and a popular spot for lunch in DTLA. I had the chicken with all toppings and the fish sauce is nice and light. The bowl customizations allow you to get exactly what you want, and picking up is pretty easy once inside.

Friendly staff, great and healthy delicious food in a small hole in the wall place. It's a bit hard to find, but once you know, you know.

It was spotted while strolling from our hotel, across the street, below from us! There were other places to eat around that section, but they didn't appeal to us. The order was quick, everything was fresh, nicely package for on the go (we ate right there, outside under an umbrella). True, the rice was mushy, because they were on top of everything else, the meat, the cabbage, etc. I believe it was brown rice. The sauce, on my cabbage (I didn't care, but hubby add more to it). The portion, was perfect size for us, since we didn't want leftovers go wasted. We had some shrimp chips with us, and we were entertained by a little birdie, who ate every single crumb, even the smallest crumb, before eating the big chip. It was lunchtime, too, and we get to people watch, as people go there for take-outs, to bring back to eat elsewhere!

Food was horrible. Rice was mushy and chicken tasted rancid. I won't be back and don't recommend eating here.

The food was good. First time coming into the restaurant and what I liked was the cashier guided me through the menu. He was very helpful. Even after I told him I couldn’t eat too much because I knew I was going to feel sleepy, he gave me a try of their in house coffee. It was goood by the way! He made my experience excellent! Great energy.Wheelchair accessibility: There’s a ramp into the corner eating areas and restaurants

Solid lunch joint for Americanized SE Asian stuff. I loved that the brown sugar boba was not cloyingly sweet. I'd say it's about the sweetness I get when I order "half sweet" at places that give you a choice. I got the daily special--spicy pork cubes in a peanut curry sauce with pickled veggies and an add-on caramelized egg. I appreciate that brown rice is an option. I would definitely get a quick meal here again.

I was so hungry and looking forward to my steak & curry plate. The steak was SO TOUGH AND CHEWY. Like what cut of beef is this and why am I chewing forever smh. The plate cost me $20.00 and I'm still hungry because after the 3rd chunk of meat I couldn't go on :(

Absolutely delicious! I got the regular chicken curry and it was one of the best gluten free meals I've ever had at a restaurant. Very flavorful and not too spicy, lasted me 2 separate meals. Can't wait to come back here on my next trip to LA
