I stumbled upon this sandwich shop in the neighborhood, and it’s truly a gem. The space is small but cozy, with a cute little outdoor area that’s perfect for enjoying lunch. No wonder it’s packed during lunchtime — the sandwiches are that good.

I accidentally missed that my sandwich came with pickles on the menu, and when I asked about it, they went above and beyond. They replaced my sandwich for free, no questions asked, and were so kind about it. On...
Great Persian sandwiches. And historic grounds. Very authentic and original. Some changes over the years and a bit pricey but worth it. The experience alone. My uncle says it’s the best sandwich in the world and he’s a big guy, so I guess he knows.
Atari Sandwich Shop used to be a must-visit every time I was in LA, a true favorite. However, my most recent visit was a real letdown. We ordered the chicken kabob and the beef sultani, hoping for the flavors I remembered, but the chicken kabob was completely tasteless, and the sultani was just okay—nothing special at all. I also found the prices to be very expensive, making the whole experience quite disappointing.
