Horrible service. They cater and fawn over white customers only.
I’m working on becoming full vegan. Let me tell you, I had the fried sweet plantain, Cesar & Arogula salad filled me up & was delicious. Top it off with a Hibiscus shaved ice for dessert!! Il never go back to a regular snow cone ever again. I felt healthy, energized and clean! So far best vegan spot in LA hands down! Affordable for quality ingredients.
The vegan food here is delicious. Love the avocado egg rolls!! ???? I will be bringing my friends in the near future.
Tried their new vegan brunch and the cinnamon bread roll French toast was delicious! Lots of interesting vegan options . Would definitely come back to try more and to see one of their shows in the evenings
Nice comfortable space. Outdoor seating is available. Special event accommodations. Easy street parking nearby.
Wheelchair accessibility: The lounge is on the street level and provides easy access for those with physical disabilities
Dollface Dames Burlesque Show is here!Use code DAVID92777 to save $8!!!
1st time. A pretty new place. Small intimate. Came to see Dollface Dames Burlesque, who are there every week. Great Fun!! They only have hummus and crackers right now along with drinks, beverages.I'm sure they will add to their menu.Drinks were a bit weak, maybe saving on expenses right now. Giving them a break. Very nice people, great vibe.
Don't waste your time, the advertise events when they are closed.
I came to support a friend who was performing. The sound was diffuse and it was impossible to hear the singing. The lighting was problematic and annoying. Why hand out menus if the kitchen is closed? Drinks were amateur.
Nice vibe

My brother took me here for the first time today and I had there Tangerine Dinosaur Salad and Vanilla Beet lemonade. Everything was yummy. The salad was reasonable for $18, it was tasty. Had a nice sweet dressing and the seeds on top tasted like warm popcorn. With the tangerine it made the salad very refreshing. The lemonade was delicious. I was not expecting it to taste like vanilla lemonade with beets! You have to try them both. Also, staff was great and everything came out at a timely manner.

We were able to get a reservation on open table for 11:30, but when we got there the waitress said they didn't open until noon. The website also said they opened at 11:30. She let us sit at a table and said it might be 15 min before we could get food started. I had suggested we just have coffee instead at Alfred, but upon hearing that the waitress suggested sitting, so that was good of her to give that option or we would have definitely left. She was very sweet but always came out and stared at us before speaking. Maybe she was being polite, but one of us was certain she was high as a kite. Which I suppose is no big deal, but it was def weird for that time of the day. The food was very good ms beautifully plated. Seasonal menu so it can change based on what they get at the farmer's market. Vegan menu was the reason we went. The food came out at different times so we had to wait for the last person to get their food and there was like a ten minute discrepancy. The chef came out to apologise though with a small taste of dessert. That was a nice touch. They also comped a juice. Would go again, maybe to see a music, comedy or strip tease thing. But clearly that's not happening on a weekday at lunch. Haha.

I tried to give it one star, but Happy Cow is nicer than I feel right now and gives a bonus star just for this place being vegan. I have to echo everything from Tonya Kay's review below, except... I am an avid wilderness backpacker and my dehydrated vegan food on the trail is WAY better than the scam menu at this place. As a vegan since 2006, I was excited to learn about a vegan late-night venue, but this place is downright offensive, bordering on criminal. I do not like speaking poorly of a small business, especially a vegan restaurant, but learning that the owner isn't vegan and is advertising to and taking money from my community, I couldn't not say something. I feel we are being taken advantage of. LA is literally a vegan paradise and this place uses the CHEAPEST most basic ingredients for higher than Matthew Kenney prices. The "Fish & Chips" were cough-inducingly dry (fried with no oil?) mushrooms on top of unsalted potato wedges and it was $32 for an incredibly small portion. Small portions are fine if the ingredients and plating are quality, but this was not the case here in the least. Most of the menu wasn't even available, granted it had just opened two weeks prior to my visit. To summarize my experience, this is equivalent to the vegan food option in small-town America circa 1992 at best, with 2050 prices. Let's do better please. ?
