This place is a vibe and the cocktails are top notch. When we arrived around 6 it was a bit quiet, but sure enough it filled up. The owners are very attentive and the bartender mixes some great martinis.

We had an absolutely PERFECT night at The Aviator. The food, the drinks and the aesthetic are all 100% on point. No detail has been spared in creating the feel of air travel circa 1964. Alex has truly created a special place in LA and it can't be recommended highly enough.

I'm giving this bar 5 stars because of the team working here. As we arrived we were greeted by two members of the team outside and they were really nice and personable. Unlike a lot of other bars they seemed like genuine people who were interested in having a conversation and not only get us to come into the bar and spend the money. The place was quiet and my buddy and I basically had the place to ourselves. Maddox was the man for a great convo and solid cocktails. Really appreciate the guys but when it comes to the bar itself...I have a feeling it's one of those bars that is a novelty and unfortunately won't be here in the next few months to a year. It just feels like an uninspired business venture as opposed to a genuine bar with a soul and passion. Without the people working here this bar wouldn't be worth visiting. The menu is also confusing...I see the fun gimmick of a passport but I've seen it done so much better in other bars. If I'm flying on a plane maybe the drinks could be inspired by the destinations?! Otherwise what am I doing on a plane that's actually not taking me anywhere but the same old cocktails like everywhere else.

The airplane theme is SO cute and the staff were dressed as flight attendants and seemed so happy to be there and were making lil in-flight jokes. I hope they lean into the theme even more and do like flight announcements from the “Captain” or wheel around a snack cart to hand out little bags of pretzels or something every hour lol
