Best Japanese restaurant I’ve ever been to in my life.

Best fried rice I’ve ever eaten (I got the seafood fried rice and split it with my partner).

The nigiri was easily the best I’ve ever had (yellowtail).

And open until 2:30 — I came here after going to a music event a few minutes away.

This is the perfect late-night rendezvous restauraunt to regularly go to with your friends after events.

Azao Sushi delivered on quality across the board. I ordered the 6-piece sashimi, miso soup, Heart Attack appetizer, and fried shrimp shumai—and everything hit exactly the way it should. The sashimi was fresh and generously cut, the miso soup was simple and comforting, and the Heart Attack (fried jalapeños stuffed with spicy tuna) was crispy, rich, and had just the right amount of heat....
