I was hankering for sushi while visiting LA and was excited to see Azao was open late, so I gave them a shot.

I had no idea that it was one of the many restaurants in this interesting drive-through/pick-up building. Walking up was really odd because I was expecting a singular restaurant. But hey, it was a fun experience!

The sushi itself was great and reasonably priced. Really glad I checked it out while visiting!

Traveled from Minnesota to LA for a fun trip, I love sushi so much and was craving it, bad, during a late night adventure. Azao was one of the only sushi places left that was open this late at night! I do wish the menu was more descriptive but I’m very familiar with Japanese food and their menus so it was easy to navigate for myself but may not be as easy for others. Love love love this place. I just recently stumbled across it and I’ve been back at least 1 to 2 times a week for the last few months. The mussels are perfect the eel omg the eel is soo good I honestly like everything. They are also on doordash if u don’t want to make the trip but I’m telling you it’s worth
