Great Mediterranean (and a bit of Asian, try the pork belly) food in a nifty atmosphere.

The tapas are fantastic, but the service is what really stood out. The server made sure that a member of our party could order safely with a nut allergy. And she overheard us talking about a birthday and out of the blue she gave us a nice little cake with ice cream. Such a nice experience.

Had a great meal at Bacari! Started with the ceviche, which was super fresh and citrusy really well balanced and refreshing.
The open-faced burger was probably my favorite part of the meal. It came with a light salad and a flavorful sauce that paired perfectly. Only downside was the bottom bread, which was a bit too soggy. Next time I’d ask for it well toasted or just skip the bread altogether.
Finished with the Malabi dessert. Creamy, coconutty, and absolutely delicious. A perfect way to end the meal.
Definitely planning to come back and try more dishes.

Great date night spot 10/10 my bf and I loved the food and the ambiance. Took him for his bday and they started us off with a free glass of champagne which was just so sweet.
Everything from the food, to the cocktails, to the atmosphere, to the waitstaff was absolutely amazing!! And there was such An incredible energy throughout the restaurant, we stayed for hours and didn’t want to leave. Our time at this restaurant was more than just dinner, it was an experience. Highly recommend!

food was tasty but service was bad, at first it was understandable bc the restaurant was super busy but even when it emptied out the service didn't improve, host forgot to give us menus, waiter tried to give us a dish we didn't order, didn't really seem like they cared about us at all
I know Bacari is really controversial within circles of USC students — it’s pricey, but it’s nice food. I really enjoyed the Asian pear and brie pizza — the sweetness of the pear really complements the saltiness of the brie and the fact that neither of them is cold makes the flavors stronger. The brussels sprouts also lived up to the hype and the chicken sliders were crispy and crunchy and a little bit sour (from pickles I think?) and those were definitely a fan favorite at our table.
The chipotle wings were QUITE spicy though and a little too saucy for my taste. Like actually spicy. There was also a little bit of a bitter aftertaste which was strange?
I’d potentially come here for a celebration but probably not on my own dime ideally.

The food is fantastic both brunch and dinner. The bottomless bar is so fun. The service is consistently great. The vibes are very intimate for a date and a group of friends. This is easily the best restaurant near USC and honestly I would go as far to say in the LA metro area

TLDR: We finally got our first drinks and round of food at 9:35, 1h35 minutes after our reservation. The food was mid for the wait, we left hungry and like we had waisted a night out. No consolation was made and the bill was higher than expected. NOT worth the money. We were extremely disappointed. Our night: I was taking my partner out for a special evening and had a reservation booked at 8:00pm, upon arrival at 8 the hostess told us the kitchen had overbooked them and that there would be a wait of 25-30 minutes. I've worked in service I get that mistakes happen and going to another nice restaurant at that time without a reservation would have resulted in another 30 minute wait so we decided to wait with our name “at the top of the list”. While waiting several other parties that arrived after us (or groups larger than 2) were seated. Checks were blatantly being put over service. At 30 minutes I went back to the hostess to check on our status, she rolled her eyes and was quite rude and told me that tables were being cleared right then and that I would need to wait another 10 minutes, we could see empty tables, we waited. After 10 minutes I went in again where she told me another 10 minutes. To which I suggested Ted that she ought to have given more accurate wait times or we would not have waited 50 minutes. Food and drinks didn't come for 30 minutes, until the waitress and then managers in quick succession told us there had been a WiFi issue and that our drinks and food had to be put in only just then. At this time we saw a table of 6 who sat after us get full service from a different waitress. We were hungry while waiting for meal rounds and felt frustrated that we needed to flag the waitress to get any service.

I hosted a dinner for 8 for my USC students to celebrate the end of the academic year. It's a perfect venue for a large party. Next time I'll try the new Bacari-Culver City.
We went last night for the first time to celebrate our daughter’s graduation. The food was fire, the service fantastic, and they added a nice touch by giving us each a glass of Prosecco to celebrate our daughter’s graduation. The food was delicious and we recommend it. Please open a location in New York!

I picked Bacari for Mother’s Day dinner with my two moms, and we had an absolutely amazing experience. The interior design is adorable and creates such a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The tapas-style dishes were all delicious — we tried the mac and cheese, steak, pastas, papas fritas, stuffed mushrooms, and more. Everything was flavorful and beautifully presented. We left full and happy!
Also, as a graphic designer and advertising major, I have to say — I love the Bacari logo. It’s fun, unique, and definitely stood out to me. Bacari is now a top restaurant on our list, and I can’t wait to come back.

I moved out of LA 6 years ago and this is still one of my favorite spots. I absolutely recommend the $32 bottomless 90 minute drinks, the sangria is so tasty and pairs well with all the yummy tapas on the menu. We also brought our dog to sit on the patio, and it was a great place for our pup to hang out. No matter the time of day, this place has great drinks, great food, great vibes ✨️✨️
