I sat at the bar at Bacari and had such an amazing experience thanks to Fabian and Alex. From the moment I sat down, they made me feel genuinely welcomed and taken care of.

Fabian was incredibly attentive, checking in at perfect moments, giving great recommendations, and creating such a comfortable atmosphere. You can tell he really cares about the guests.

Alex brought the best energy. He was friendly, fast, and detail-oriented, and the drinks he made were incredible. He made the whole bar feel fun and inviting.

The way they worked together made the experience feel effortless and elevated. I’ll definitely be coming back very soon.

Bacari delivered an exceptional date night experience for my partner and me, elevated even further by the warm, attentive service from our server, Mo. Every dish felt thoughtfully curated, making the evening feel special from start to finish.

The Muladara was a beautiful surprise—rich in flavor and an outstanding vegetarian option. I chose to substitute scrambled eggs, and it blended seamlessly. The Seabass was cooked perfectly and paired with corn, onions, and a creamy miso that added depth and balance to every bite.

The Brussels sprouts were another highlight, brought to life by a bold, assertive sauce that made the dish unforgettable. The Lamb Hummus was, according to my partner, the best dish on the menu—exquisite flavor, perfectly cooked, and truly without a single miss.

We ended the night with Lemon Drops that struck the ideal balance of sweetness with just the right kick, a perfect finish to a memorable evening.

Bacari offered the kind of dining experience that elevates a date night into something truly special. We look forward to returning.

We were so happy to find a great local place close to USC campus, but outside the USC Village. Cozy vibes with great food, craft cocktails and excellent service. The cauliflower, street corn, and pear and brie pizza were all amazing. We were in a time crunch to catch a flight home and our waitress was super accommodating.

The new room to the right is SO LOUD we couldn't have a conversation without shouting. We were done with dinner by the time our wine came as they were out of wine glasses. Had we know we would have had the wine in any glasses they had. The server was friendly and accommodating and the food was very good but I wouldn't go back again on a Saturday night.

Great experience all around. Service was excellent, food great and the entire restaurant from decor to playlist was immersed in the Halloween spirit!! Loved this so much!

Great menu, tried several different dishes - hamburger, Mediterranean tacos, mujadra and others. All were very tasty and fresh. My gripe is with the waiter. Very poor service to our table - ignored a couple questions, said they were out of iced tea, basically walked by our table as if we were invisible. The good news is the assistant manager stepped in and pretty much took over our table and he was awesome! Atmosphere is wonderful. A must try restaurant and hope you don't get the I'm too cool waiter.

Compared to the Bacari in silverlake, this one isn’t as good. The decor is nice but the majority of the diners that night were eh. It’s next to USC so there were a handful of college students who were being loud and obnoxious. Which isn’t the restaurants fault but if you’re going there with a hot date it’s not the most ideal atmosphere. I did ask to be moved and it was better at the other side of the restaurant.

The food was okay. It’s not as good as the silver lake location. The papas was undercooked and under seasoned. The broccoli was okay but it was slightly under cooked as well. It feels like the cooks were given the recipes but haven’t perfected it. The best dishes of the night for me were the meats ones; the burger and sea bass. The vegetarian options were eh. The bread pudding was really good but it was slightly undercooked (which personally I didn’t mind. I thought it was good but if someone doesn’t like running bread pudding I would skip it).

It was funny because another guest approached me and asked what I thought about this one. I said it’s my first time this location and she also said this location isn’t as good as the Sherman oaks and the silverlake location.

Bill came out to 94$ ish. We ordered 6 dishes.

All in all I thought it was decent. I wasn’t wowed like I was with silverlakes location and I wanted to be wowed.

I love that there is this wonderful restaurant in this neighborhood. The food was very good, the mixed drinks were not that great. The tapas were tasty; the portions small but filling. The ambience was great as well. My biggest complaint is the staff. I am not sure there were enough people to serve. We were with a 6 year old and the host sat us and gave everyone in the party a menu, including the little 6 year old. When our server arrived I asked for a kid menu and she brought the menu and crayons. The host read on the reservation that we were celebrating an anniversary, but never once said happy anniversary. The server didn't say anything either. I didn't expect a free desert, but an acknowledgement goes a long way. we had a difficult time getting the servers attention after we placed our order. We wanted to add an item and it took a long time to order a an additional item that never came, but we were charged for (it was later corrected). The final annoyance was we could not get the server's attention to pay our bill. That said, everyone was very nice and the food was good. They may have been short staffed that day, so I definitely recommend everyone try it.

We promptly got greeted by our host/server/bartender all in one. He was a chubbier (sorry) Hispanic guy w facial hair who gave amazing customer service, knew the menu well, and was very nice overall. Great experience with him and the lady server. Such a playful and chill vibe from her fr
LOVED the pasta, shawarma tacos, and Mac & cheese was good too. Will def b back for the great service, food, and romantic vibe. Please add soft, slow jazz music for the complete vibe, thanks!

The service here was extremely disappointing. Despite it being an open bar, the staff barely acknowledged us and seemed to ignore our table. My girlfriend and I waited 28 minutes just to place our order and, over the course of 90 minutes, were only checked on twice. The food itself was very good, but the lack of hospitality made us feel unwelcome. Unfortunately, I’ll be choosing the Silver Lake location in the future where the experience has consistently been better.

Bacari is one of the best dining spots I’ve been to in LA. The small plates are perfect for sharing and every dish we tried was delicious. Great cocktails, friendly staff, and a cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend for both date nights and group dinners!

Bacari is a gem! The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was fresh, super flavorful, and perfect for sharing. Big shoutout to the manager Kalyn for going out of her way to check in and make sure everything was perfect. Bella and Fabian were awesome too - super friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. Will definitely come back!
