I consider myself an açai bowl connoisseur😇 and this is by far my absolute FAVE spot (they have a branch in Santa Monica as well, which I used to frequent when I lived there!). Their açai bowls are consistently AMAZING – I love that there isn’t added sugar in the açai base (which most places seem to have these days🙄) My go-to is the Santa Barbara bowl and it’s rare that I get any other bowls because it’s the best, but they are all great!😍 Their staff are always really sweet! And their manager (I think he is?) who used to be at the SM location always has the best customer service and keeps everything running smoothly!!👏 Totally vegan and GF friendly!!!💚

Very friendly vibe. Product is fairly consistent with the exception of avacado toast which can sometimes vary (sometimes heavy on ingredients and sometimes sparse) but always tasty.

My dad told me he went to Backyard Bowls with his friend Ben. It’s a cool little spot where humans eat frozen purple stuff called “acai.”
Ben said there were great smells and people who definitely would’ve pet me. Next time, I’m going. 10/10 would lick the bowl.

I’ve tried almost all the acai bowl places in the area and this is by far my favorite. The base is not too sweet and refreshing, with tons of toppings. I’ve had acai bowls from Hawaii and this is the one that comes most close to the one I had there. This place deserves more hype!!

PLEASE BRING BACK THE DOWNTOWN OR SILVER LAKE LOCATION 🥹🥹🥹 I miss it so much. Backyard Bowls is the only açai place in LA that mixes the açai base with other fruits and tastes good. PLEASE CONSIDER MAKING A LOCATION IN DOWNTOWN AREA! Or Burbank
