Great food and ambience
I have been coming here for a decade now. There is no better Indian restaurant in LA area even if you paid 2x.
Try their Daal Tadka or Bhindi Fry or lamb shank sheekh. All menu items (almost) are just too good; well cooked; right mix of spices and not too hot and never bland. Their small chai and Parle G ice cream sandwich may appeal you if you want to try something unique. People here have changed over time but always friendly. Suggest you reserve table in advance.

The saag paneer is way too salty. The worst saag paneer I've ever eaten. I could barely taste anything other than salt. I could not even finish it. Huge waste of money. Never going here again. Would not recommend.

The food is delicious. It’s not your traditional Indian restaurant. The food tastes more like Bangladeshi cuisine for some reason, which is a big plus for me. The beef reminds me of the yummy, slow-cooked, low-effort (I mean free from too much stirring, frying, oil separation, and tons of spices) qurbani beef from my childhood.
My husband loved the ghost pepper lamb vindaloo. It was too spicy for me, but really tasty. He also liked the yogurt appetizer.
I absolutely loved the poutine. This is the best poutine/loaded fries I’ve ever had. The spices in it remind me of iftar chickpea curry.
I used to love a lemon crème blue mussel dish from a Bangladeshi restaurant back in Bangladesh. I searched for it everywhere in the US but couldn’t find anything similar. The blue mussel gravy here is really close to that. The mussles do have a rawish taste/ flavor which I didn't like that much, but the gravy is soo good that I can overlook that.
The kheer was good as a vegan, non-dairy dessert. I also loved the mango mousse. Happy belly, happy me.
Atmosphere was ok at best. Upstairs was dark, music was too loud for me.

I had really high hopes for this place coming from the Infatuation; however, the food was not very good and it felt that the kitchen had no pride in what it was putting out. The battered punjabi fish was rank and we got food poisoning. The cocktail we sent back as the mango pulp was floating in it and looked curdled. The wagyu beef biryani was overcooked the meat was not tender and its 36$ which is absurd. We both got sick at night too which was not good.

The food and service here was excellent but for the price and upscale aspiration I think the presentation and ambiance was lacking. The space is super dark and loud and the tables tiny and packed together. The Asamiese fish curry was the best thing we had and the Indian inspired cocktails were innovative and terrific.

I wasn't sure what I'd make of this. Going to LA to eat Indian food (the staple of every UK high street) could be a culture clash too far. But actually it was surprisingly good - you could choose between 'LA fusion' dishes like chicken tikka poutine and classics like daal makhani. I went for the latter, and it was as good as any I've tried. But maybe next time I'll be more adventurous and try the chilli cheese naan! The restaurant was bright, buzzy and a young clientele.
Horrible experience. Host literally told us that we need to leave in 1 hour even before we sat. Servers are very rude

the space and server were really nice. the chilli cheese naan is very good. but overall food was average. it’s a ok spot for a quick meal but taste is very average. do not recommend the chai - would love it if they made chai the indian way but it was clearly instant chai.

Reserved table for NYE, arrived on time & waited 20 min to be seated (which we understand can happen on NYE), got seated and we were told in a few min that kitchen was closing in 3 min! Cocktails were extremely sugary and diluted, the Espresso martini was sugary cinnamon water for $18! Broccoli starter was burnt, samosas were decent and mains were ok too (expect they got the bread wrong 3 times). When we ordered more drinks we were told the Bar had closed (at 9:15 pm). Terrible communication on earlier closing times and no apology rendered. We were hoping to have a good time on NYE but were terrible disappointed.

Excellent food with friendly service. We tried items off the happy hour menu, a few other appetizers and had a few beers.
Butter chicken and samosas were excellent. Their masala fries are very good, nice and crispy, well seasoned. The poutine with tandoori chicken also very good. Would come back when in the area.

This is my parents and now my favorite and most fun Indian restaurant in LA, the food was exceptional and the staff were so friendly. We’re going back tonight and we’re so excited!

I ordered delivery so can't speak to the service and atmosphere but, the channa masala and onion bhajji warmed my heart and soul.
