Hey does anyone know if this place is even open anymore? I’ve visited 3 times during the hours found on google yet it is always closed? However the icw cream is really good!!
Great tasting acai bowl.
Probably the best soft serve ice Cream dtla. My studio is in the arts district and is a short walk to 2nd street from 4th. There is a good positive vibe from staff, a good selection of flavors and toppings, and is super clean. Definitely worth the stop if you're in Little Tokyo or in the Arts District.
Ice cream was decent. Flavour options were limited. No AC, super stuffy. Service was curt and rude to our party. No cash. Was ok to check out but wouldn't go out of my way to return.
Went today and it was not the experience they present on social media, absolutely no AC ( it was very hot in there, I feel bad for the employees). Seating area closed/blocked off. Machine for the pineapple & vanilla (black & white) was out of service, isn’t this the most popular item? So I decided on an açaí bowl but they do not take cash. I understand most people use card now a days but if you do not accept a form of payment that should be stated before taking someone’s order. Left with nothing. It was just an overall poor experience. Whoever owns this place needs to manage it better.
The staff were nice ?, I didn't mine the wait for the 12 oz Bae Bowl. It was a really loaded bowl for sure; I could barely get to the bottom section. I should have probably asked for a bigger bowl for the 12oz because I had to take it to go. Overall, it was good.
Summer is just too hot for me, so while everyone loves Summer, I'm just like Fall, please come. But anyway, the ice cream here is okay. I believe they do change the flavors once in a while and maybe we just happen to come when none of the flavors sound interesting to us. They only have 3 flavors, so maybe check the flavors to see if you are interested before coming here.
A random little ice cream spot I'm happy I stumbled upon. My "Pegasus" ice cream with its fruity pebble and strawberry panda toppings was the perfect dessert. I thought it was really good so I'll be back despite the somewhat awkward and rude service.
ice cream tasted light and fresh, just how i like it. serving size was great, with an interesting presentation. i will be back!
So they ran out of one half for the 3rd option but still offered it. Then I picked the first option...that had some problems too.So they let me know all they had left was a Grey tea and coffee mix. It was called mixed feeling and it was delicious!I will be moving to Korea town.

This place used to be good but quality has gone downhill, both in service and food. Ice cream is not creamy, very icy and add-on offerings are not nearly what they used to be. Much better options nearby.
I was intrigued by the name and looked up on Google. Here it is “Bae," Urban Dictionary says, is an acronym that stands for "before anyone else," or a shortened version of baby or babe, another word for sweetie.True to its name, the place is very sweet with plenty of unique sweet ice creams. It becomes trendy and popular that the store front is always clog with long line of people. With the pandemic, they can only serve one customer at a time.Despite waiting for a long time, the great taste of the ice cream is so worth it. Besides, this is one of most Instagramable places in DTLA. So definitely worth the wait to take that awesome picture to show your friend on Instagram. We ordered couple of flavors included the famous mixed feeling and earl grey swirl ice creams. I was amazed by the smoothness and creamy texture of the ice cream. The ice cream tasted like soft serve but flavored as an epic ice cream. We were glad that we had a chance to come here to try out Bae’s ice cream. With these fantastic ice cream, We had our sweet tooth satisfied and a perfect ending to our evening in DTLA.Parking can be a bit tricky. We parked a couple of blocks away on the street in little Tokyo.
It’s definitely nothing special here. I tried to get the “mixed feelings”-charcoal vanilla twist cone, and I’m not impressed. The quality of vanilla is close to zero, they didn’t have cones and it’s icy, not creamy, $7 with tip. Plastic cup and spoon w cheap icy flavor, clearly a value engineered product with a company only focused on the bottom line.
Vibe: minimal, hip, cleanProduct: not too milky, not too sweet. The soft serve flavors are all spot on and they offer a variety of toppings and cones (got the earl grey in natural cone as well as the pineapple charcoal / vanilla on charcoal cone.)Service: quick and friendlyWould come again!
It’s been so long since I’ve visited my bae my favorite flavor here is Coco puffs and Earl grey; Pegasus is good, too. I have mixed feelings about the mixed feelings; it’s too tart for me.
