I had been wanting a bagel for a while...a long while. I wanted one real, real badly. I came in with a buddy of mine after searching through Yelp for hours-on trying to find the perfect bagel place. Noah's, Western Bagel, La Brea Bagel Co; we decided to take a chance with Bagel Broker. We risked, we won! The bagels here are nothing short of GREAT! What we ordered: I went up to one of the two very nice cashiers and asked what was their most popular bagel sandwich; they said the lox and cream, I went with that. It was amazing. Loved it. I'm still in bagel cream cheese heaven as I write this. I got it on a cheese bagel. It's exactly as it sounds; Cream cheese and lox...lots of cream cheese and lox. It was...indulgent. The way I can imagine starting everyone of my mornings from this day forth. Oh, the potato salad it comes with is SUPERB. The Tuna Sandwich: Tasty. Chunky tuna salad and you get a choice of bagel. I prefer the lox and cream cheese, of course, but this delectable in its own right. In the words of our beloved Terminator--"I'll be back!"

Bagel Broker is a no-frills, low-key bagel shop serving a large variety of bagels along with the usual lox and slew of breakfast sandwiches. My wife and I tried the egg and poppyseed bagels and both were decent...frankly, about the same as the chains such as Noah's and Panera. Other reviewers seem to be big fans of the bagel sandwiches, so perhaps that's where the magic lies. When it comes to the sheer quality of the bagels themselves though, it's average at best.

Been craving a good bagel. Finding one in this town is harder than it really should be. Ordered a half dozen through DoorDash, and we're stoked! Browsing through the reviews, this character "Madeira" seems to be some beacon of light and hope. I don't doubt it. But today, there's another superstar, whose name also starts with an M.... Marissa! Called to confirm that they received the order/ make some changes, and she was the most sweet and accommodating. Got our order and it was perfect. Also, on the everything bagel, they put the "everything" on BOTH sides of the bagel & it all actually sticks to the damn thing. Magic! Although... it could use a bit more garlic and onion. Loved the bialy and the jalapeño cheddar. Excited to try more.

One of my favorite bagel spots in town! We went on a Saturday morning, and the line wasn't too bad! I love how this place is cheap and really good, and they have so many different options for sandwiches! You can customize it - I got a breakfast bagel sandwich, filled with scrambled eggs, cream cheese, tomato, and avocado. The eggs were spilling out of my sandwich and it was so fluffy and soft! The bagel itself was flavorful (I got the jalapeño cheddar) and chewy on the outside. The sandwich was really filling as well, I was full after eating half of it. My friend got a bagel with strawberry cream cheese and orange juice, and it came out to $15 in total.

Never coming here again! I walked in at 530 they turned me down and said we are closed. That's not the part that got me mad. As I was walking out some rich guy with an Austin Martin that parks in front of the store walks in grabs a cup of coffee, they told him were closed too but! He was like I'm in A hurry blah blah, I'm just going to get coffee. I was like so you only serve rude people huh? No one said anything so I left..

I am so glad to have found this place located just across the street from CBS Studios. It's a small shop located in a strip mall with a few spots but plenty of nearby street parking. I go out of my way on my commute when in the mood as their bagels are very delicious. I almost don't miss New York Bagels anymore. Suggestion: increase baked goods selection

Just moved to LA from New York and like many others who have done the same, was looking for a good bagel. Nowhere near as good as an essa bagel, Russ and daughters or tals, but I guess for LA this is good? Haven't tried any of the other places but will have to report back. Bagel was ok, lightly toasted, Lox was average, cream cheese was watery, toppings were not stacke. 3 star bagel but it was also half the price of what the same thing costs in nyc so upped it to 4.

Bagels are great but service is fantastic. Personal touch goes a long way in making this experience turn from good to great. Maderia's charismatic energy paired with phenomenal bagel sandwich skills have quickly turned me into a regular. Shout out Maderia for making my mornings so fun

I have been craving NY bagels since I've moved here a few years ago. Bagel Broker is probably the closest in terms of quality and taste to the ones I had in NY. I got in around 10am on a weekday and it was not too crowded. Although the parking was full by the time we left. The bagels were ready fairly quickly too. The bagels are not too heavy. I got a plain bagel with ham and cheese while my partner had sesame with cream cheese. Both were exceptionally well done. Can't wait to go back!

This has become my favorite breakfast spot in L.A. for two reasons: 1.) the quality of the food and 2.) the employee Maderia! She makes the best bagel sandwiches in town! Always fresh and made to order and simply delicious. Plus she is hilarious and puts a smile on my face even when having a bad day. Definitely returning and highly recommended. My favorite is the cheese onion bagel with sausage egg cheese and chives whipped cream.

My favorite bagel spot in LA. While the lines to this place can take forever sometimes, employees there like Maderia make the whole thing worth it. She's awesome and in just a few moments of interaction, consistently puts a smile on your face and brightens your day.
