We had to go to LA for the day and of course I used my handy dandy Yelp app to see what was around. My wife and I decided we wanted tacos. We walked over and found this little place just tucked in between two other restaurants. It was close to closing time so the guy running the place was jamming the Mexican music. I can dig that. I ordered a couple of asada tacos and they were great! My wife ordered a tort and it was a pretty good size. We only tried the red salsa that came with our food and man, it was hot. If you're in LA, check them out.

Was craving fish tacos and stumbled upon this place. Guy working was great! Service was great! Was a little disappointed with the fish tacos though as they were cold. I also really wanted those yellow peppers they serve on the side but they had none ready. It was lunch time and I was the only one there. He did try making some more but apparently the oil wasn't hot to do it he said. Taco would've been better if it was warm. Maybe I'll try again on Wednesday since the tacos are discounted.

Love this place. First became familiar with them from the Venice Blvd location and was pleasantly surprised when they opened up a location in Westwood since I work at UCLA. 1) the seafood is pretty decent quality. It's not AMAZING seafood but it is certainly much higher quality than what other establishments peddle. when you walk in you can see the seafood laid out behind the counter which gives you a good opportunity to judge for yourself 2) the prices are very reasonable. westwood rent is expensive so I am surprised they offer these price points.. can't beat the $1.25 fish taco... 3) overall, between the pretty good food, and the pretty low prices, this place is a GREAT VALUE

Baja California Tacos has fish taco deal on Wednesdays. I believe it was $1.29 for one fish taco so I got 10! They also give you plenty of salsas, limes, and radishes. It's super good and affordable so I highly recommend you try it on Wednesdays if you haven't.

Horrible experience. I waited 45 minutes for a burrito and a bowl. When I got the food it was cold and poorly prepared. I asked for sour cream in the burrito and the man put mayonnaise in it. I even gave him a tip before hand but now I regret I did because the food was horrible. In Los Angeles you are better off getting a burrito off a food truck then this place.

No service. I've had food from here previously and it was good. This afternoon at around 2:30 pm, Fri. 11-13, I stopped by to get take away. Only one customer was at an outside table. I came in, nobody at the counter at all. In fact, there was nobody inside at all, as I looked around to the left of the counter. Just chairs up on tables. I waited about 2 mins, still no staff. Finally, someone came out of a doorway, never acknowledged me at all, even though they saw me waiting. They never said, "Hi, I'll be right with you". Nothing was said to me. This person just disappeared to their left to where I don't know. I still waited another about another 2 mins or so. Still that person never appeared. Well, guess what? I left, went across street to Taco Bell, was waited on immediately. I walked back past Baja California, still nobody at the counter and one customer or friend, had gone in to talk to the person who couldn't be bothered to wait on me. How can this place stay open if they don't have any staff to wait on customers no matter what time they stop by?

Went here on a wednesday afternoon for their 1 dollar tacos. Very worth, however my only complaint is that the lady who took my order on the phone was very rude. Otherwise would definitely recommend for their affordable taco deal on wednesdays!

This place has a great deal Wednesdays! The tacos are about 1.50 and so delicious. They were so hooked up, and the salsa was delicious. Great service from a great restaurant!

Hard to say anything bad about a burrito that costs <$10 in an area where everything else requires me to sell a kidney. Also delicious, only decent Mexican in Westwood.Haven’t ordered since Covid though, so cant comment on how the past 6 months have been.
Pretty decent and cheap tacos in Westwood Village near UCLA. I come here on Wednesdays for the $1.50 fish tacos. The tacos have great flavor--the fish is good quality, the white sauce is good and they are generous with the toppings. I also like that they give you a plate of pickled veggies and chilis on the side. It's a great price and there are very few legit taco places in the area. My one complaint is sometimes the tortillas are a little hard and stale--not always, just sometimes. For the price, you can't really argue. They also have orange bang which is my favorite drink and really hard to find anywhere!Service is very friendly and there are two outdoor tables where you can enjoy your food outside. They take good safety precautions and clean the tables regularly in between customers.

Great authentic taco joint. I had the potato taco (I'm a vegetarian) and it was delicious! My boyfriend got the fish tacos and loved it. Great selection and tasty food. Will definitely go back

1.29 fish tacos on wednesdays used to be 1.00 including tax and they don't accept ur beverage coupon for anything but sodas even tho the coupon says you can use it for horchata or Jamaica or tamarindo but overall good food good service :) I go back every Wednesday I can

Never ordering from here again... placed a delivery order online, and got less than half of it. When I called the guy said he would "look into it", and then hung up the phone. Tried calling back to nothing.... VERY Poor customer service. Disappointed because I actually really liked the food here.
