Can I just say how sweet the lady is that runs this place...Alice I believe She is such a happy person just makes you wanna come by to say hi and grab a bagel, muffin, donut.. something to drink or even a sandwich .... or maybe even a corn dog! Def do yourself a favor and come here!
I stopped by here for some sweets iced coffee and handmade cranberry scone. This place is my favorite store when I visit DTLA. This place is in Food Court @ California Market Center. If you haven't decided yet for lunch, then I would recommend to have her sandwich(Now marked "on bread" on menu). I highly recommend to have her sandwich with tomato, jalapeno. That was awesome combination.

Alice, the owner, is just one of the sweetest people in this building. She always greets you with a smile. If you come often enough, then she remembers what you order so you don't even have to say anything. My favorite thing is, even if I just tip her a dollar. She gets all giggly and happy. I am more willing to buy her $3 coffee with a $1 tip and know that it supports her small business and her family, than to keep buying my $5.50 coffee elsewhere.
