Was in the mood of some pulled noodles and this hit the spot. With a little theatrical flare, you can see the noodles being hand made, they are fresh the texture was great. Good bounce, not too chewy but enough bite to it. I came with a friend and we got lamb and beef. They use a numbing type of spice here and it was the perfect amount, not overwhelming. Very fragrant from the spices used.But... the real sleeper here is the cucumber salad. That thing is crazy good. So was the beef roll, typically not a fan of them but this one was worth it. The taste here is authentic, not watered down. So many flavors.Parking: There is a parking lot in the back you can pull into it.

I used to be the biggest fan of this place and supported them since the beginning. When they first started on the streets of highland park, I waited over an hour but it was completely worth it. And I did it many times. Fast forward and now I feel like the popularity got to them. The noodles are def alot thinner than before and the meat is really dry now. The quality just isn't there anymore and for the price you pay, it should be. They have become way too inconsistent ever since they hired people to make the food. Add that to the increased cost and it's just not worth it anymore. I hope they get back to being the hungry pop up they once were.

Bang Bang Noodles has a small window where you can order noodles and around the back of the building, there are a couple picnic benches with umbrellas where you can eat your bowl fresh. They have a small parking lot to the left of the window if you drive here. Tingling Cumin Noodle Dry w/ Lamb (4.5/5): True to it's name, the sauce is super tingly and you can feel the sensation even after you've finished your meal, but is not actually that spicy at all. All the noodles are made fresh to order and are a thick, chewy delight. However, as other reviews may have noted, if you don't eat them immediately, they will inevitably clump together. The lamb slices are tender with a good amount of fat and the cabbage adds a little more of a crunch to the eating experience.

A noodz gem in a sketchy area. I got their tingly cumin soup with lamb, their beef roll (they were out of the cucumber & seaweed salad), and their honeydew agua fresca to sample a bit of everything from their menu. For almost $40, it was definitely pricey, but it was superb quality. The honeydew drink was super fresh and felt like I was eating a real honeydew. The beef roll was a nice blend of flavors and was not messy despite its appearance. Their noodz was my fav and make sure to add lots of the chili flakes they give you to the noodz if you like spicy. Personally I would always get the soup because that broth takes the noodz to a whole 'nother level!

Hate to leave this review, but seriously... These noodles were not good. So bad that after a few bites we tossed it in the trash. Not worth the $20 spent.

It doesn't taste good. Not worth of it.

I stopped by for noodles after visiting the FILled market in their side lot. The window is unassuming and easy to find. The service was very friendly and helpful. He described all the flavors and dishes. I was hopeful about this meal given the descriptions. The honeydew agua fresca is delicious and not overly sweet. But, I was kind of disappointed with the food. The protein options beef and mushrooms in my noodles are good but the noodles themselves just turned into a big clump at the bottom of the bowl in the 15 minutes it took to get them home. They really weren't edible. The sauce was ok but not very spicy. I love cucumber salad but it was a little too oily. I don't know, I am glad I checked it out but it was a pricey meal considering I couldn't eat much of it.

Food was great. Portions seemed small for the price but it was very filling. They have vegan options. There is only outdoor seating and no heaters. They have their own parking lot which is very convenient

A few things I wanted to note if you're vegan like myself and the options that they presented. Their menu online differs slightly from what they currently offer in terms of vegan options. A lot of the vegetarian dishes claim to be able to be made vegan, but it does end up suffering just a tad bit. Lemme explain below: We ordered the Mapo Tofu Dry Mix with an additional Noodle (4 slivers in total) ($20) and they said it could be veganized. I was excited and hopeful that they would have a vegan friendly mapo tofu mix to smother on top of our amazing noodles. When our dish came out, it was honestly just their dry chili-oil noodle with some plain tofu on top... no mapo in sight. I was confused too at first because their tofu appetizer was apparently unable to be veganized because of the sauce, so we didn't end up ordering it "because it would've just been plain tofu." Welp, we didn't get the mapo we wanted, and I wish I had known that going into the meal. For $20, it seemed rather pricy for what we got, but I still have to give it to them for some yummy, chewy fresh noodles. I would suggest they come up with a hearty vegan sauce option for their noodles.

I mean it's good, love the staff, the food has a lot of potential-- enough that I've been a few times. But the portions seem to be a little small and the current experience in a dimly lit parking lot seems sub-optimal.Parking: Private parking lot.

Came here after a long day of viewing museums and walking around LA. Me and my friend decided to stop by since we've heard raving reviews about this place. When we arrived, the owner was super friendly, patient, and incredibly accommodating. I'm super indecisive, but he was still so nice. He went through the entire menu (since this was our first time) and my mouth was honestly salivating hearing the description. I got the dry cumin noodles with lamb while my friend got the dry szechuan garlic noodles with braised beef. We also got a beef roll and 2 aguas frescas on the side. I found it super cool that you can see them make the noodles through the window. Also, our food didn't take long to come out and it was worth the wait! The portions look small but LET ME TELL YOU, they're super filling and packed with flavor. Five hours later and I was still satiated. The aguas frescas were also refreshing with an Asian twist of added honey dew (?). Banging food, banging customer service.

We were craving hand-pulled Chinese noodles after having a bunch of authentic ones in the Bay Area a few weeks ago so we found this spot and were excited to try it.The noodles were thick, chewy, and perfect. We got the Szechwan noodles and the cumin noodles, both with lamb, and the flavor of both was delicious. We also got the cucumbers salad and beef roll andagain, both exceeded expectations. In terms of pricing, yes, it's on the higher side for Chinese noodles but if you compare it to other places of similar quality in LA, regardless of cuisine, it's very appropriately priced.Highly recommend!
