A beautiful rooftop terrace and bar offering an interesting drinks list, but the service we received from the barman was pitiful, and the few food items we ordered from the menu were merely okay. Given that we were seated in the gated part of the terrace, not near the pool, drinks should have been served in glassware, not plastic.

Very cute rooftop bar. It's actually rather quiet and tame up here on weekends. They have a restaurant in the first floor with live jazz that tends to have more people. My only qualm with this place was the drink prices and quality. We paid about $20 per cocktail and the margaritas just looked kind of skimpy. I added a photo so you can see the glass was half full when served. My martini was decent, however.

Food is delicious, wish I took a pic of my tuna sandwich but it was really good. Fries are bomb. Ryan our bartender took care of us and was so nice. We had great conversations. Didn't eat downstairs but took a look and it's gorgeous. Will eat there next time, but the rooftop was popping.

Just found out that the chef they had hear left. So disappointed. Come to LA once a year just to come here to eat the fattoush especially not on the menu no more He was such a good chef. Does anybody know where he went? Would love to find him to eat his food, especially his fattouche salad .

Good vibes with DJ I.AM.JAM, he does such a great job setting the perfect mood for a sunny SoCal day.At the beginning it was empty but then it filled up rather quickly. The bartenders are so welcoming and MIKE was super friendly. He knew how to keep the drinks flowing and also recommended food options. I had multiple 400 Conejos or Mezcal Margaritas which were a fabulous recommendation from MIKE. For food, I had the Tempura Fries and the Wings which were delicious and cooked to perfection. I also loved eating them poolside.I will definitely return for another Sunday Funday! It is such a good time. A must see when visiting Downtown LA.

The vibes are immaculate. Food/drinks are a tad bit pricey (as they will be at every rooftop bar in LA). But the ability to chill next to the pool on a nice lawn chair and watch the sunset with a live DJ in the evening can't be replicated anywhere else in DTLA. Eddie downstairs (not sure if he works for the hotel or restaurant) really elevated the experience for us. He was extremely kind and was very informative about the hotel/rooftop bar.

Cute, cozy rooftop bar. Came here around 730ish. It wasn't too crowded and had plenty of seating room. It does get more crowded later into the evening. Nice spot to catch up with friends. Noise level was minimal, and I can happily hear conversations.

Bar Clara is the rooftop/poolside restaurant atop the Hotel Per La, which is where I was staying and had a dining credit. Clara thankfully is not one of those noisy late-night revelry places that adorn many a rooftop hotel, even in DTLA. Clara closes at 10 pm. The setting is beautiful with a few indoor high tops by the bar and plentiful outdoor seating arrangements both outside the bar and around the entire pool. Views are decent, but there are better around. At 8 pm on a weeknight the place was fairly busy, but some folks were just enjoying the pool. I had a compressed watermelon salad with chili-marinated cucumbers, feta cheese and candied pepitas with added grilled shrimp, plus furikake-dusted tempura fries with Sriracha aioli. The salad and shrimp were tasty, but the fries were on the limp side. I don't know what makes them tempura-ish. I also got a mocktail that was the bartender's choice--good but too much muddled mint for my taste. The prices were on the high side for what you get. Kudos to Michael, the only server on duty who was literally running laps around the pool and patio area. A nice place for a relatively quiet poolside meal and/or drink.

The atmosphere up here is that of a beach getaway! I love the beach vibes and the breeze was amazing! Great views and drinks. The staff is super friendly and there to help! Definitely recommend (bring your swimsuit!)

If you are lucky and the waiter actually makes an effort to see you there, then MAYBE she will come by to ask if you want to order a drink. Terrible, not

Great rooftop hotel on top of the PERLA. The pool is great and the service provided was exceptional. Michael was our server and the bartender Efrian made great drinks. he made us E-side Rickies and daquiris. The chicken panini was also really good with the focaccia bread. definitely recommend this hotel also for a short trip in downtown LA

Came in for a quick drink and healthy snack. Mind you the rooftop atmosphere is totally a vibe. Definitely a spot to come to when the sun is out!
