I never know this place was beautiful and elegant bar. This place is gorgeous especially the open windows view of the hills leading towards gorgeous home. The atmosphere is old fashioned but very well designed. The people were nice and so friendly. Now the music isn't for me. Maybe because l didn't stay passing 1030pm but the drinks were top tier. I tried several drinks and they were exquisite. This place is open everyday with never charge. Must come and visit especially this time of the month OCT. Definitely will come again.
I cannot tell you how fabulous Bar Henry is. Spectacular cocktails. If you want something classic, you'll get a perfect version... but I'd recommend you try one of their inventions. Bar Henry menu cocktails are well balanced, complex, and delicious. I've never had a cocktail I didn't love there and have been going for 5 years now.

Bar Henry is a great neighborhood cocktail spot in Echo Park. The vibe is intimate and stylish. Moody lighting, velvet seating, and a cozy atmosphere. The drinks are excellent, strong classics and creative cocktails, plus a good selection of beer, and wine. It does get busy on weekends, so seating can be limited and the noise level rises, but on weeknights it’s much more relaxed and conversation friendly.

Im such a bar snob and very picky about my drinks. Absolutely every drink that we ordered was so well made! We all ordered something different, so we could try each other's drinks. No disappointments here. Im okay with paying $17 plus for a drink if it's crafted correctly....full bodied, not flat. This place delivers! Can't wait to try thier rest of their cocktail menu.
Also, this was my father's waterhole back in the 70s /80s it was called El Chubasco, so I needed to see the revamping.

Food only got 2 stars because I didn't have any. I think they had snacks, but I'm not sure. There was an amazing taco spot right across the street, though! But service was good evening with the crowd and I loved the atmosphere. Very chill vibe and nothing to fancy. Definitely a good hang out spot but don't dress like a bum. Be cute casual!

Out favorite neighborhood bar. Music can be hit or miss but the cocktails NEVER miss. We can also count on a good drink here. No real food here outside of a warmed pretzel.

Went here after a Dodgers game and it is such a cool bar. Security were friendly, the bartender Julian was great to talk too, and of course the cocktails were fantastic! I couldn’t believe they had a “Vesper”, as a massive Bond fan I had to have it and it was amazing. Followed with the old faithful Espresso Martini which was great too. Drinks are reasonably priced. Can’t wait to come back here the next time I’m in LA!
