Cuban sandwich and Ropa Vieja were delicious. Ambiance was so relaxing even with all inside tables taken. Service was spot on. Definitely going back.

Last night I was there and I bought the best empanadas I tasted in the United States in addition to some potato balls that for God's sake were so delicious! My heart burst with flavors! Thank you for cooking so good, I want to go back and try more things from the menu. I highly recommend this place. I loved that the lady who took care of us was confused when we asked for the flavor of the empanadas and gave them to us as a gift so that we can try another flavor.

Food was tasty (you could eat the rice all by itself) although a little oilier than what I normally prefer. Flavors were spot on. Service was a little sad as I had to request for water after waiting for 20 min. The arroz con pollo was gone by 7 pm.

Always highly recommend this café in the heart Atwater Village. The place has been here for quite a while, even surviving covid. The prices are good, the food is fabulous. Only very small critique, update their sign outside, missing a letter... needs a refresh.

The Pollo al Horno and Plátanos maduros were so good! Chicken was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious.

I ordered suckling pig with rice and beans and ripe ones, it is delicious but they served me little suckling pig, like a leaf, very little and without leather, which is what I didn't like and for the price they should give a good assortment of suckling pig. That's why they failed.

My family and I are Cuban descent and found this while in the wall restaurant after exiting the Glendale Forest Lawn cemetery. We were there on a Friday after visiting the crucifixion resurrection mural which is a must see. I order the garlic shrimp with rice and beans. The shrimp was salty and the beans were bland. My family members ordered different meals ranging from bistec encebollado, jerk chicken (very small piece of chicken), bistec de palomilla, and sandwich cubano. The rice pudding was not sweet at all and was very watery. Why I gave this a 4 star instead of 3 was because of our female server. She made the atmosphere so great and inviting. She's a gem. I wish I remembered her name. As a Cuban I get it a meh. Nada del otro mundo. If you get what I mean.

Service was good. But the food lacked authentic Cuban seasonings and flavor. Cuban food never is accompanied with pico de gallo or hot sauce. Plantains were not ripe enough and the yuca over fried. The garlic sauce had zero flavor. It is dark with dated decor, not very inviting. I give 2 stars to friendly and attentive waitresses.

The owner is an exploiter, he does not pay, he has exploited the cook for years, I was a waitress at this place, I owe a year of my salary and to date he does not pay me. And if you charge him he gets upset and starts screaming

I took my family here after a run to CostCo since it was close by and looked good. It was a small place with maybe 10-15 tables and I must say, it was some of the best Cuban food I have ever had. My son had the Cuban sandwich with fries - he loved it - and my wife had the Arroz Con Pollo (chicken and rice) and she said it was amazing. I was torn between the Cuban and the Pan Con Lechon (Roasted Pork Sandwich) and the hostess/waitress told me to go with the roasted pork and I am SO GLAD SHE DID. It was astoundingly good and like the Cuban came with delicious fries. We also had some sweet plantains which were very good and some empanadas (cheese and beef) which were great and not at all greasy considering they are fired. All in all it was a great meal.

Delicious Cuban food and attentive service in a cozy inviting atmosphere. Since I'm vegan I usually get a bunch of sides. Black beans, white rice, avocado salad , fried tostones and that's enough to make me happy and going back to this place like it's my job. I also love their Sangria. It's not just some chopped fruit in a glass with red wine poured over it. It's legit Sangria. And as I mentioned the service there is always so warm and welcoming. Like you just went to your aunt and uncles place for dinner. Parking can be kind of tricky on that street because of all the different businesses but it's not impossible. Oh and non vegans you'll love it here too. My husband the non vegan loves it and so do friends and family I've taken here. Definitely check them out!

Not the place I would recommend if you're looking for authentic Cuban food. Not to say it's bad. Just not Cuban food by any means. It's more of the bland "American" Spanish food. I didn't enjoy it much, but maybe that's because I had my heart set on something. The women working were amazing . I appreciate the service. Place was clean and cute. I recommend the aroz con leche ( ask for it warm, trust me ) lol
