A tiny Portuguese restaurant in cypress park owned by a really nice guy, Mike Santos. Now it is small, but it is great. It is always super clean and they have great Portuguese food. We just love it. Whenever we are near there we stop for dinner.

You can make reservations or just walk in. It is not usually too long a wait. There is a lot of comfortable outdoor seating which is great. They play great music and now and again they have live music.

Their bread is the best. I could just have that and be happy, but I always get their pork because it is just perfect.

Start with their WEISER FARMS SUGAR CUBE MELON. It is so tasty.

Their ARROZ DE PATO CONFIT DUCK LEG, with BOMBA RICE, SOFRITO, CHORIZO, and DUCK CRACKLINGS are so good and they give you a large portion. You can share or take extra home. Their SUMMER EGGPLANT, with SCALLOP VINAIGRETTE, AGED CHEESE and PEPITAS, SUNGOLD TOMATO is so good.

There is nothing you will not like. They have nice selection of beer and port as well. Have fun.

Disappointing. Not sure if we just came on an off day but every dish we ordered had an issue. The tuna crudo tasted like a mouthful of lemon peel and salt; completely overwhelming. The branzino had a delicious sauce however the fish itself was also extremely salty. Hard to mess up potatoes but you guessed it also over salted. The sauce the potatoes come with was bland and tasted like dishwasher smell. It was kind of the host to get us a table despite having a time restriction, the service was okay, but the food did not deliver. Ps, the auto added health% on the bill is a turn off to customers.

Found this place on the red dining book and it was 10/10! The tuna was so fresh and tender. The pork sandwich was one of the best 8 ever had. We reserved a table at the bar and it was ready for us when we arrived. It was so fun watching the cooking. Highly recommend!

Lovely, cozy and enjoyable! It felt like a little getaway to a European tapas or bistro… the food was simple and delightful, the service attentive and the space charming, we’d definitely go back!! 👌💯

Eggplant was a miss - dried out - but everything else was awesome. Love the duck rice best of all, and the almond cake. Also, enjoy the potatoes every time, and the charred octopus, which was a special. Service is always attentive and unpretentious.

Truly a dream! I’ve been dying to come here since they opened a few years ago, finally made it and they did not disappoint! The food was so fresh and the flavors were phenomenal. The servers were so attentive, kind, and welcoming.

Food is good, though not amazing. Found the Portuguese cheese featured to be lackluster and overwhelmed by the sesame seeds in the baguette. Pity, with so maNy amazing Portuguese cheeses...

If you're looking for an authentic Portuguese food restaurant, look elsewhere or you'll be disappointed. This place offers a fusion with a light Portuguese touch. The place is small but cutely decorated, and that probably the best it has to offer. The food is ok, and considering the bill I would expecting a little more. Portuguese restaurants are so rare in Los Angeles and I really wanted to love this place but it was a disappointment.
