Amazing upscale middle eastern fusion restaurant in LA! Beautifully designed, wonderful staff, delicious food and on Thursday and Saturday nights turns into a restaurant/bar with live DJ (practically a club party in a restaurant) with amazing vibes! They also had Valet service.

Came here for my friends birthday the other night. Such an amazing restaurant! It was so beautiful inside - I felt like I was teleported to another country. The music, atmosphere, and overall vibes were incredible.

The food was even better. The chicken tenders and fried califlower are some of the best I’ve ever had. all the food was tasty. Everything was great including the service.

I will definitely be returning here and look forward to trying out the rest of the menu.

Add to that the amazing music and lively atmosphere, and it’s the perfect spot for a fun night out, whether on a date or with friends. Highly recommend — every visit is a memorable experience!

Highly recommend the place, excellent food, atmosphere and rare service, in my opinion, among the best kosher places in the area. I promise to come back again.

They ruined my 11th anniversary
The host in front was rude. They won't let us to cut and eat our cake that we brought because of the religious reason (our cake was not KOSHER) !!!!!! You should mention this in your website this restaurant has strict religious rules. We came out before we order any food. The worst experience I had in my life.

I ate at Basboussa, the food was on point. Kebabs were juicy, Moroccan cigar was hitting, and the music/vibe was just right. Amanda the server took care of us like family 🙌🏻

Saturday night at Basbussa are so much fun if you like international music. The vibe is young and energetic, the sushi is amazing and I would stick with that and drinks. I am not a fan of the meat dishes, it's too pricey for what you get. A great place for celebrations or a fun girls night out.

Good spot, good ambience, pricing and service could be better.

I had high hopes when I visited this restaurant, especially given the rich culinary traditions of the Middle East. Unfortunately, the experience left me frustrated. While the food may appeal to some, it felt more like a superficial appropriation than a genuine celebration of the diverse cultures it claims to represent.

The restaurant markets itself with dishes that are deeply rooted in Palestinian, Lebanese, Syrian, and broader Arab heritage, yet there’s little to no acknowledgment of those origins. Instead, it’s framed as a new Israeli twist—ignoring the long histories and traditions behind these recipes. This kind of erasure feels especially uncomfortable given the political context.

The ambiance was polished, the service was fine, but the overall experience felt tone-deaf. If you’re going to profit off a cuisine, the least you can do is honor its roots with transparency and respect. Until that changes, I won’t be returning—and I’d encourage others to think critically about where they spend their money.
