Went to Basil and Cheese Cafe after looking to see what coffee shop had good reviews nearby. Initially, we were only going for coffee but ended up getting food too and I’m glad we made that decision. We ended up getting the honey vanilla latte (cold), bacon breakfast burrito with a chipotle aioli and tots on the side. The burrito was amazing. I had a couple breakfast burritos on my trip to LA and this was by far my favourite and I would go back just for it. The aioli and salsa...

The breakfast burrito is to devour. Love the texture and the crunch you get when biting into the hash brown inside. A bit oily but very well served and rich in flavor. You could say it's a bit salty but complimentary and with the side of sauce they give you, extra points for that.

If you’re searching for a great café downtown, look no further than Basil & Cheese Cafe. The matcha latte is a must-try—delightfully creamy with a deep matcha flavor. Every staff member I met was genuinely friendly and offered fantastic service. The café’s bright ambiance made it feel lively and comfortable. On top of the drinks, the food was also mouthwateringly good. I’ll definitely be coming back!
