The security guard has a big attitude. I was looking for parking when someone removed the cone & with his hand pointed for me to park there, which I did since I was only picking up my food. While I walking towards the restaurant the security guard approached me & said why I removed the cone? So I told him it wasn't me, & he replied back yes it was you. I told this ignorant man next time before he opens up his big mouth he needs to check the camaras before accusing someone. I told him I was going to report him, & with an attitude he said, I don't care. So I did report him with one of the staff when I got my food, that employee apologized for the incident. I always come to this restaurant, food is amazing but they need to get rid of this ignorant security guard & hire someone that will be polite & kind to customers. Great service begins with treating people with respect on the parking lot. May 5th, 2024 around 6:30pm.

Located in Koreatown LA, BCD Tofu House is a cozy restaurant serving korean tofu stew with complimentary, refillable side dishes. I personally loved the fish cake slices topped with sesame oil and potato salad. I’ve been to a few BCD locations across California and New York but this one is the golden standard. Not only does it have plenty of free parking in a dedicated lot, but the inside has countless tables as well as a full staff that operate like a well oiled machine so no detail was forgotten.The combo meals are the way to go here as you get a choice of tofu soup, a main entree like ribs or beef, and plenty of rice and side dishes as well. The banchan are unlimited and wait staff come by with carts to refill your plates frequently which is awesome. All the food came out super quickly too. The galbi ribs were some of the best I’ve ever had, they were marinated and grilled perfectly.This place is an institution and a must visit for anyone!
I came across this oasis-like restaurant when I was tired of American food during my travels. I was surprised at how delicious the ribs were. I think I'll remember the taste of ribs even when I return to Korea. The staff were very friendly and refills for side dishes and water were filled right away without me having to tell them. Except the spacing between tables is too close and it's too crowded.Everything is satisfied

I enjoy their seafood pancake here. Not super crispy, sometime it is a little more burnt on small areas, but overall does its job and is filled with seafood. Great spot to soothe that craving late at night after drinking. Soups here hits for sure after all that alcohol.

been coming here every time i visit la from ny. the nonkorean lady at the entrance named Sophie was incredibly thoughtless or she's just an idiot. so i went by myself and normally they gave me a table around the quiet area on the right side of the restaurant where they usually have visitors who comes alone, this idiotic woman tried to put me in the middle of the crowded group of people ( literally, the one table surrounded in the middle of all groups around) while there were so many empty tables on the opposite area with other people who came alone. did she really think i would be comfortable eating surrounded by a bunch of people???!!!!! like has she never been to a restaurant by herself????!!! i'm shocked how such a stupid woman is standing at the front door serving people. always all the korean people are so nice, i dont understand whyyyyy they chose this grumpy hysterical lady at the front ???!! be better!!!
