Bizarre and poor service. The exterior is walled off between a closed shopping mall and parking garage. We had to get the attention of a doorman through a non-descript cage door to ask where the entrance was - turns out it was there. Club/bar atmosphere and ambiance was great once we found our way in. Got our drinks no sweat. Hardly anyone in there on a Saturday night close to 10pm. Suddenly the music stops around 10:15. No indication why. It felt like the 5 minutes before closing time when the lights all flash on, music stops and bouncers mush you out. We start to hear murmurs that there’s some sort of private event going on later but nothing directly. We ask the kid DJ who’s been standing for a half hour around the DJ decks taking selfies why there’s no music playing and apparently there’s a private party happening in an hour. We finish our drinks as staff awkwardly patrol the premises where we can overhear them saying “this group is about to leave” and “that group is about to leave”. We were never once informed that a private party would be starting at any point and that we would no longer be welcome. Any information provided beforehand would have been much appreciated. To be indirectly mushed out by poor service for us and several other small groups pushed out to make way for their private party was just bizarre. Just tell us beforehand what you have planned and we will happily leave around your itinerary.

Exceptional. I expected it to be a little cheesy but aside from the magic show- not at all. The food was fantastic quality and value. Very well thought out 3 course menu with enough selections for variety but not an overwhelming amount of choice. The drinks were incredible. Truly wonderful (I had too many with zero regrets). The performers were truly talented and the costumes were amazing. I hoped this would be a fun experience and it turned out to be a highlight of my trip to LA.
Can’t give a rave enough review on this place! LOVE

If I could give 0 stars I would. I went here for my bday and while the show and everything was entertaining, the waitress was really rude and lacked customer service. Her name was Bianca or Brianna something with a b. She gave us attitude for everything and just had such a weird vibe. She didn’t even give us refills on our water the entire 2 hours we were there. We had to put our hand in the air while she was at another table to get her attention for a refill. We saw other tables had a big glass of water so they could refill themselves but we weren’t offered any of that. They also brought us the wrong appetizer and while we had already tried it, she still decided to take it away which was unnecessary and extra of her considering it was her mistake that they brought us the wrong appetizer. One small cup of water for an entire 3 course dinner and a really weird waitress. I wish we went somewhere more pleasant for my bday. Don’t waste your time or money coming here.

I'm sad to say that we were thoroughly disappointed with our experience of Beetlehouse LA. From making our reservation until our actual booking, the menu was significantly reduced and what was received upon ordering looked nothing like the fun presentation displayed online/on the menu itself. The food was fine, a little simple for the price point and some portions were on the small side.

The decor was amazing, and the performers were very good if a little lacking in variety (we were there for just under 2 hours and we saw two of the same number performed twice). Also slightly disappointed in the fact that Beetlejuice himself wasn't hosting or performing as had been widely circulated in most of the promo/customer videos.

My main complaint comes from the venue/staff itself. Staff couldn't hear to take orders of drinks or meals and constantly brought courses in the wrong order/all at the same time when the tables had limited space and stood gaping wondering what to do when they hadn't cleared the previous course or made any space. It's a converted nightclub and the quality of the upholstery and toilets really are the giveaway. Torn seats, cracked 'leather', vandalised toilet walls, damaged doors with poor locks, and an attendant that is beyond unnecessary. The place was supposed to be open until 11 and as our seating was at 8 for 2 hours, we thought we could vacate our table and maybe just grab another cocktail at the standing bar to watch the performances for the rest of the night until closing. They announced the last performance at 9:15 and by 9:30, they had tables up-ended, seating areas being cleared away, the bill slapped down on our table with staff running around for what turned out to be an early close and reset for a club function that started at 11. We had not been told this at any point from booking until we left, we just had to figure it out on our own. At one point a staff member nearly injured another diner when they lifted a table directly over his head and only avoided collision because the guest was still eating and had bent forward to take a bite.

All in all, I would expect more from an establishment charging $65 dollars a head plus drinks and tips. We spent over $350 for 4 diners and had food that was fine, limited performances, poor service, a venue lacking in general apart from decor, and rushed out the door before our reservation was even finished. Very disappointed.

Had a reservation for 7:45, more than an hour later they still hadn’t seated us and were telling us we’d need to wait more time. Had another reservation to go to so we left.

It Was suggested to go here by a friend because I love Halloween and horror things. I didn’t expect the show but that was a cool addition to the experience. I had the Sweeney beef steak and it was great and the deets shrimp (which had cilantro on it not my favorite but I just picked it off) the presentation of the shrimp was super fun and they were huge. We don’t drink alcohol so we just had cranberry juice. My son and husband had the scissor hands burger and both enjoyed it. We had a brownie, tart, and pumpkin cheesecake for desert but could b-barely finish because it was too much food. We were sat right when our reservation started at 4:30, we got out of there right on time to make Halloween Horror nights at 7pm at Universal Studios. Expect to spend 2 hours dining here. There was a photographer that took our pic and framed several and I chose 4 for $25 a piece, totally worth it. I think the low reviews from other people are a bit harsh… just go in, try to have fun and KNOW you are going to pay LA prices for a prefix themed menu in Hollywood. I will say I have eaten at the Universal Horror Cafe (also $65 per person) and I preferred Beatle House to the food and experience at universal.

Brought my wife here for Halloween, we’ve been a couple of times in the past but this time it was way different, the food was mediocre, definitely not the same how it used to be. My wife doesn’t eat red meat or fish, it was a bummer that we were informed that the chicken gets cooked with bacon fat and the vegetarian burger is no good. The performance was ok they need, to get more performers for the entertainment. Other than that the server was really accommodating. Unfortunately most likely won’t be going back.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! The food was absolutely incredible I had a bite of what my husband had and OMG! This is hands down my favorite place to go, the entertainment is so good and I’m not like a musical scene kind of person but WOW they performed so well, not to mention the atmosphere is just so cool! I have nothing but good things to say about this place I’ll definitely be going back every chance I get!

We visited last night from the U.K as we were in L.A on our honeymoon. We didn't have dinner reservations as we just wanted a few drinks. The lady outside was very welcoming & polite, however, it took us 1hr to get served as there was one bar tender who was seeing to reservations/ tickets & another bar tender who stated how hungover he was. The drinks were nice & the entertainment was great. We left after one drink though as the initial hour wait killed the vibe for us. The venue also seemed quite dirty, we were sat in the Halloween corner by Oogie Boogie & there were dead flies & old spilled drinks.

Had reservations at 5:45. Sat right away then was ignored by every employee. For an hour. No drinks. No service. Just sticky floors and tables and rude employees. This is the second time on a row. Ended up leaving at almost 7pm to go somewhere else.

I’ll start by saying that I absolutely love Beetle House but, ever since they moved into their latest location, all the stipulations have been a nightmare. My advice, is that they need to lose the gimmicks and just become a regular bar (still Burton themed obviously) with a la carte food. I was turned away for the millionth time because they were only serving drinks to people with reservations. The bar was open for walk-in’s but once you got there, they told you that they weren’t serving anything. So then what’s the point?

Not anywhere on their site or socials can I find that info either. If they do that, they need to tell the general public so a unnecessary trip isn’t made. But also, why even let people walk in if they can’t get served a single thing?

I saw on the news recently that they were hurting for money. Well, maybe if you lost the silly gimmicks (reservations, food packages, bar is a dance club after a certain time) and stopped making people leave constantly, this would solve some issues. Also, quit making people pay $65 for subpar food. Just make it a la carte. Scum and Villainy seems to be doing just fine with this method.

The atmosphere was great/amazing! Lets talk about the food and the prices. The food was served cold and the taste was very mediocre. I had the Mac and cheese, which was served pretty cold. Then, I had the steak which didn't include the scissor hands which was on the picture when ordering. The steak looked more like chicken and it was very dry, I had to ask for a A1 sauce. My bf had the Edward scissor hands burger, the bread was very hard/strechy, he couldn't really bight into the bread. He ordered wings for his appetizer, bww is way better. The wings where wet and soggy. The taste was not good. We where in a party of 10 and our tap was almost 800 dollars. Overall the food and price didn't equate the the experience said on other reviews here on Google. The proformance was good even though they replayed the same songs over and over. If you are their for the experience you will like it but if your their for the food, don't go. You will shit talk the place throughout the whole night. My bf says it was lackluster experience. No bueno.
