My partner and I loved the no frills down to earth vibe and friendly service. Another table was finishing up as we walked in and welcomed us in with "it's good food!". And it was! There was only chicken and beef today - they ran out of seafood the previous day. I liked that the white and beans separate had a lot more beans than the mixed choice. Super sweet plantains and solid potato salad to top which really helped cut through the heat of the hot sauce. Be aware that the hot sauce is no joke!

I'm Belizean and this my go to spot for authentic Belizean food in LA. Every time I eat here it reminds me of eating my grandma's stew chicken growing up. My grandma is the one who told me to go here so if grandma approves then you know this place is the real deal!I got the stew chicken plate and I love that they give you plantains with the meal. I've been to other Belizean/Caribbean spots where they make you order the plantains separate which I don't like since the plantains round out the whole meal.I always gotta finish my meal with a coconut tart. Belizean Paradise got my fav coconut tarts over anyone else in LA. Get them while you can, there's times I've gone and they're sold out for the day.The service here is so friendly, the owner is a big sweetheart who always puts a smile on my face. I feel like I'm back in Belize when I'm here.

The service was great. They didn't have any seafood the day I went, so I ordered the oxtails (which was dinner only this was at 2 something on Monday). Okay no problem, I was hungry and wanted something delicious what I got was a huge plate of Rice and beans (best thing), plantains that were disgustingly hard, not fresh and not hot. I can tell they had been sitting out. The oxtails all 5 that was placed in a side dish was not what I was expecting, the flavor was off to me. It wasn't worth the $23 dollars I paid for it.

I haven't been here in years but when i went the other day it was still the same. Food was still great and reasonably priced. Service was good and warm. I recommend this place to a lot of my friends.Parking: Since the place is attached to a motel, I don't think we can park in the motel parking. But I've always found street parking and there's always a place to park out front.

Returned for another delicious meal. Happy to report that the young lady that took our order was lovely. She was efficient, friendly and welcoming.We had the chicken dinner, rice and beans. All of it delicious. The best part of the meal were the tuna panades. Fresh out of the fryer! Crispy, light and flavorful. These are a must. I can't wait to come back. Thank you again for another fresh, home cooked meal.

Wonderful atmosphere with incredible service. it's located underneath a motel so you might miss it but its delicious and affordable. pig tail was flavorful and tender braised for hours until soft. Stew beans were the best i've had and the hella spicy hot sauce ties everything together. and the potato salad side slaps. 8/10

Idk what happened but the food fell completely OFF! They used to have the BEST breakfast IMO, But my visit last week the food was horrible it's kinda hard to mess up breakfast u would think....IDK of they have a new cook or what BUT we will not be back! #GROSS
