Found this hidden gem do to a misunderstanding. Was looking for friend chicken and this place popped up on YELP. Well unfortunately no fried chicken. But we had the best bbq ribs. Tasty, falling off the bone the spicy bbq sauce was really good not really needed they were really well seasoned. My sides were greens and Mac and cheese all really good. Had to get an order of cornbread also good would've been better warm. Clean place with hand sanitizer on all the tables. No complaints, compliments to the chef.

Great barbecue. The food was ready quickly. Given surroundings, a bit expensive but generous portions might mitigate the price. Really enjoyed the grub!

Happened to be in the area to check out another venue for comedy, which sucked and way too many smokers when I left early and decided to get some barbecue. Amazing food. Baby back ribs literally fall off the bone and melt in your mouth. Didn't like the look of the links, but they tasted good, and they were much cheaper when you order them in-house; half price really. Also took some cornbread and baked beans which was very good and some extra barbecue sauce to go. Had my own homemade potato salad waiting at home and I had food coma on three separate servings, and still had some to spare. I know where I'm going for my barbecue now, a little out-of-the-way but well worth the drive. I give this place four and a half stars

Got the loaded fries, brisket nachos, hot link, and bbq ribs. All of which was good, but the loaded fries is special. People here were also very friendly. I'll be back to try brisket and pulled pork sandwich!

The platters may look small when they arrive at your table, but they are actually HUGE portions. The plates itself is just very large. Cornbread- delicious and NOT dry Pulled pork- yummm. Not fatty. Well seasoned. But it is seasoned. Not plain. On the sweeter side. Mac&cheese- good al dente noodles Baked beans- a little on the peppery side, but so good. Brisket- best for last. It. Is. The showstopper. Basically, get the brisket. Just do it.

Can honestly say it's one of the best barbecue spots I've ever had. Brisket, baked beans, cole slaw, corn bread...amazing. I come here like twice a month at least.

Today I took my hubby here for his birthday..we loved it..staff was great..facility was clean..and of course food was awesome and great tasting..but only one thing, they ran out of ribs at 1130 in the morning ..but it was all good..gives us a reason to go back and try them..cornbread was the bomb!!..sauces were tantalizing ..we needed a "down home-cooking southern bbq place" in town..and we went there because another"no mention names " place was CLOSED in a Tuesday ..thank Big Ants for being open and so...delicious ..sorry parking sucks though

The pulled park sandwich was immaculate. Served lightly sauced with a sweet and a spicy bbq on the side. The Cole slaw was so good - creamy, tangy and fresh. The service was swift and polite. I liked this place way better than Craft by fire and smoke, where I gave a bad review for the service. Cant wait to come back to Big Ant’s!

Very good brisket and pulled pork. I have not yet had the baby back ribs but so far the food has been very good. There s good smoke flavor to it. I looked the brisket over the pulled pork, but both were delicious

I had heard that this is a great place for BBQ and it's true! A friend and I split a pulled pork sandwich and a brisket sandwich. We requested that the sandwiches be cut in half because we planned to share. They not only cut the sandwiches but plated each half for us. The pulled pork was great but the brisket was amazing! I highly recommend the brisket. Cole slaw was good and so were the fries. The orders came with sweet BBQ sauce and spicy BBQ sauce. I preferred the spicy, my friend the sweet. I'm not a fan of the Kool-Ade pickles which I had had elsewhere once before. The indoor area is very sparse. It feels much more of a take-out place even though there is enough seating for twenty or so people. Our first choice table was not clean. Great meal that was reasonably priced. Definitely on my list of places to come back to. 4.5 stars for the starkness and dirty table bumped up to 5 because it's not going to stop me from coming back.
