The restaurant is not fully vegan but there are a plethora of vegan options. We ordered the BIGZ combo with plant-based spam and sisig with pancit noodles and garlic rice. It was a delicious and giant meal. We shared and even have leftovers.
I appreciate the efforts of the business, accommodating for vegans and having vegan items, which are super hard to find within Filipino culture.
However, after trying the garlic rice, vegan longganisa, vegan egg, and the vegan pandesal… it did not come close to resembling the real non vegan authentic versions… the garlic rice didn’t taste fresh at all and was mildly warm… the longganisa tasted like tocino somewhat idk.. didn’t like any of it.
All vegan items in the meals cost $3+ just FYI
High hopes but disappointed….. on to the next Filipino spot on the hunt for good authentic vegan Filipino food.

Been coming here since the day it opened and have always been happy that there’s a convenient Filipino restaurant that opened in the West Los Angeles area neighborhood, at the time when I used to live nearby. It is also owned by Chef Barb, owner of the nearby popular Filipino desserts place called B Sweets.
They used to have a tables inside but since they reopened post covid, they now just have patio : outside tables and majority of their business is mostly take outs and deliveries I believe.
They still have the same consistent good and delicious Filipino foods and the stand out would be the crispy fried chicken.
It is super casual and if you decide to eat there at their patio, everything will be served on a to go paper plates, cups and containers which was fine. The service was great and food was made to order quick. You either have to order online in a kiosk like machine available or order personally but I think they prefer for everyone to order online. Modern times lol!
Parking is a bit challenging because the only place to park are the metered street parking.
Parking: Metered street parking only.

This was the worst Filipino food ever. It wasn’t fresh at all. It tasted like it’s been sitting under a heat lamp. Chicken adobo tasted like it was cooked out from a crockpot. The Longginisa was dry and sweet like eating a sugar cube. We drove almost an hour to try this place out, it wasn’t worth it!! So disappointed!!!!

Big Boi got me through some sad pandemic, lockdown times (kudos for them for figuring out the take out/online ordering + social distancing thing so quickly). Years later, I still think they have the best Filipino food I have ever tried.
* The weekend fried chicken is the best and even better with the gravy included.
* Garlic rice pairs with everything, goes well especially with the longanisa.
* Pork Tocino is good and reminds me of Chinese sausage. I would order the longanisa over this, as it is more flavorful.
* Lumpia has a nice amount of filling and perfectly fried.

Order on Uber eats. Received no fork spoon or condiments. Rice over cook, chicken over cook food I feel was old from the days before and was then sold. Dried out, no season. First time, never again. LAWRENCE. 05 02 2024
Went here and got a bigz with the longanisa and sisig, along with the fried chicken and gravy! It was enough for the both of us. They use impossible meat for all of their meat replacements. Everything was great!

Great spot for Filipino food. Lots to different dishes, and amazing just like you would get in the Philippines. Can buy Ube and other condiments as well. Definetly recommend finding a way to go here if in los angeles area.

I ordered their smallz plate with sisig for a Filipino friend and he said it tastes like his mother's amazing cooking. If that's not a 5 star review, I don't know what is.PS they gave me free garlic rice even though it is normally $1 extraPPS if you order from here, you get a $1 discount on desserts at B Sweet down the road
