We love Birds! Max the bartender is rad and so is the strength of his vodka sodas. The entire menu is awesome with a chicken-centered focus (a la ‘Birds’) with the burrito being my favorite to get and enjoy. This spot host a ton of funny people too - patronized by local comics and the never-ending talented groups that study at Upright Citizens Brigade. Birds is a solid hang after or before any given improv show they give there and perfect to meet up during traffic or aka ‘happy hour’

Unfortunately my partner and I thought the rotisserie chicken was dry, which is shocking considering all the rave reviews. That being said I enjoyed coming here, its a great place to get some food and start the night. I shared a half chicken and appetizer plate with my partner and it was plenty of food. Mac and cheese was amazing, mozzarella sticks amazing, fried pickle was great and i normally don't like pickles. Good onion rings. Id like to try it again, but both white meat and dark meat were tasty but dry

The vibe is cool, great people watching. The food for me so far has been fine bar food , not noteworthy but the drinks are flowing and it's a fun Franklin hangout.

I had dined at Birds previously and always had good experience with the food. I was craving chicken strips so placed an order for pick up. I was extremely disappointed, they were over cooked and had zero seasoning. The fries were starchy and had zero flavor...even their buffalo sauce was bad. I honestly have had better food from a gas station. I am the type of person where if I have just one bad food experience at a restaurant I’ll NEVER go back.

I'm so pleased i asked a couple of smokers where is good. they pointed to Birds. Bar tender cute and kind, music on point, screens glaring american sports, people talking sweet nonsense. it was soothing to my soul as was the french onion soup. thank you for being a good bar. I'll come back, if i'm walking along fountain again. thank you
