This is the third time I’ve been here and this time I was definitely disappointed. I had seen previous reviews saying portion and flavor has gone down so I wasn’t going to come but I was like “you can’t mess up coffee” and yet my latte didn’t even taste like coffee just milk. I would’ve said something but I’m sure they would’ve told me to order more espresso shots if I want more coffee. We ordered burritos and for $16 the portion is insanely small. The plates are so small now and the salad portion is not even 1oz. It was empty when we arrived compared to the last times we’ve been here. We always knew it was on the higher side of cost but made exceptions for the vibe but how do you mess up coffee? Last time coming.

came by for lunch and felt very welcomed by an employee named alicia, was one of the best customer service interactions i’ve ever had , would come again !!

edit: was hoping to receive the same energy and service as last time i had come by here but it was the opposite unfortunately , the food was not good , my latte for some reason was served in a to go cup and I didn’t see the server Alicia who helped me last time sadly. hoping to receive help from her IF i decide to return to this location .

I love coming here because it's a hidden gem for breakfast without the crowd. However, in the past few months, I have ordered food to go, and I found it to be bland; the hash browns tasted old and a bit hard. Today, I dined in, and unfortunately, the hash browns were still hard and bland. I’m very disappointed, especially considering the food isn't ccheap.I hope management can fix this issue soon.

Extremely disappointed.
They are completely understaffed which ruins the fluidity of things.
I ordered a the crepe, a latte, side of eggs and hashbrown. With a total of $40 (tip included)
First came the eggs with hash brown. An entire 10 min later came my crepe. With no latte.
This wasn’t a unique experience. There was a group of 4 ladies in front of me who got their drinks after their meal as well. 4 ladies and they all got their food at different times.
The food is good I just wish they’d have more staff.
As soon as you walk in you will be greeted by a long line of people waiting to order.
Since it’s an order at the register type of place.
Since the two people who are here are super busy. You will wait close to 15 minutes to order.
I expected so much more. This place has so much potential. I wish more people would be honest in their reviews so I would have known beforehand. Never coming again.

The food is terrible for price paid. I order the lumberjack and a coffee. After tip, total came to $28.

The “breakfast sausage” was literally a cut up hot dog. Scrambled eggs over cooked and rubbery. The hash browns had a nice crispy layer but underneath was the consistency of mash potatoes. The pancakes were fine enough.

$6 for a coffee should be good coffee but it’s just Folgers.

They need to improve food quality or lower the prices. I will always remember this as the place that serves hot dogs as breakfast sausage.

No issues with atmosphere or service hence two stars instead of one.

Unfortunately, the quality has DIMINISHED!!! The customer service has definitely declined in their attention to detail. We used to love this spot and considered it a hidden gem but these past two times have been quite disappointing. The food was missing item, the fries were overcooked, and honestly had no flavor. We used to love this spot but now they don’t even include ketchup, ranch or their chipotle aioli like they used to in their orders. They also did not have an option to charge for my substitution and still didn’t honor it. I wanted avocado instead of bacon and I got TURKEY bacon 😭. Again charge me if you must but please just get ne what I ordered. We were just sad to see the quality of the food go down with the prices going even higher than they were before.

My girlfriend and I used to love this place but it seems the time has taken its toll. Cold food, substitutions not honored, and dismal customer service. It’s very disappointing because we always thought it was worth the higher price than usual, but now we can’t justify paying this much for mediocre food and service.

My recent lunch at Birds Nest Cafe unfortunately did not meet expectations, especially for a restaurant with an average rating of 4.2. While the customer service was friendly, the food quality was disappointing. My grilled cheese sandwich lacked flavor and the accompanying fries were room temp and appeared to have been sitting out for some time. I would recommend exploring other lunch options in the area.

Ordered the "Oh My Goodness Burrito" which SHOULD contain
Steak, egg, avocado, cheddar, hash, and salsa. It should come with baby g salad.

As you can see in the picture, it only had hashbrown, egg, and a few slices of avocado. No steak (the point of this 18.75+ tax burrito), no cheddar (gotta have my cheese).

My wife ordered steak and eggs, which was very well presented, and tastes good.

There is no service here. We arrived as first time Sunday breakfast customers. Sat down for about 5 minutes and nobody every approached us with a menu. I guess you grab your own menu and take a seat. The atmosphere is nice. After we knew what to order, the person delivering the food never acknowledged us until I got up and went to the cashier to order. Already a poor experience, but hey, maybe the food is good, right? I ordered my Steak and Eggs burrito and my wife her plated steak and eggs and some fruit for my 9month daughter.

Wouldn't come here again, ended up being over 50$

Stopped in here today for breakfast having not heard of the restaurant prior, and WOW! The breakfast burrito I ordered was incredibly flavorful and served piping hot. I will be back.
