If you order Lamb Biryani. You will get less rice, less meat and too many potatoes in lamb biryani. Very strange!
Got catering from here for an event - truly exceeded my expectations! Food was ready on time, fairly priced, HUGE portions, and genuinely every single dish was delicious. Every person who tried anything came up to me later and asked where the food was from. Channa & veg biryani & chicken tikka masala were standouts. Deeelicious!

Ordered their lamb shank biriyani, this is one of the best biriyani I have ever tasted in USA. Super flavorful, the meat was perfectly cooked and the portion size was big enough to have for 2 meals. Highly recommend this.

Friendly people here for a to-go order on New Year’s Eve. The fish biryani was outstanding with nicely charred fish and caramelized onions. The samosas were also great.

Great Nihar and mix grill platter, the prices are also decent with good quantity. Chai is also good.

A little hole in the wall with a simple and cluttered interior, but don't be fooled--the food is divine. I had a lamb karahi, which was a large portion of lamb and potato chunks freshly made with a rich broth of tomato and spices. I used every bit of rice to sop it up. Make sure to ask for the side of raita. Also ordered the super crispy and a little spicy samosas (which you pick out yourself), and come with both mint chutney and sweet tamarind sauce. They have an assortment of drinks, as well as mango lassi.
Parking: Small free lot in front of the strip mall.

We drove from San Jose to LA and wanted to try their food. The biryani was just the end of the thick masala left with a bit of meat, completely soggy rice if there was any.
The seekh kabab felt like hard rocks. It felt like the minced meat was marinated and kept in the freezer for over 6 months.
The chicken tikka masala was filled with sugar.
We order extra biryani rice and they gave us Chinese fried rice . If I want fried rice I will say I want fried rice and not biryani.
According to them, this is the best Indo/Pakistani restaurant in LA. I pity the standards .
You need to try Kebab and curry / Pakwaan / Shalimar if you really want to know how food should taste like

Went here after seeing that the owner provides food to houseless folks on TikTok, and the dishes looked delicious. And I was not disappointed! The saag paneer was gorgeous - it was unlike other Indian saags I've had, which was interesting, and it was full of veggies and had a delightful flavor. Serving size was very generous. And the mango lassi was so good, too. I will definitely be back to try more dishes!

Absolute YES! We saw a video on Instagram highlight the owner of this restaurant. The rest of the week I wanted to try and come get food here. Finally over the weekend we came and had the lamb biryani to take home. The next day we had a guest in town and we knew he would feel like the flavors here would remind him of home in Africa. It was delicious. We ate at the restraunt, we met the owner and said hello, as well as Abdulla! He was also very friendly. We had lamb biryani again as well as a chicken curry. This is what food that nourishes your soul tastes like. So glad to support a small business such as this and I wish them much success. Whoever’s idea it was to put them on Instagram was very smart and I’m glad they did it. I’m a fan and will be recommending and coming back for more!
