We were invited to a family gathering and Birrieria La Línea was the caterer. They had Birria Tacos which they looked good and everyone was raving about them. A hot summer day in Chicago doesn't tend to scream "birria tacos!" and yet I found myself eating at Chela's with a friend. The establishment looks small outside (there is definitely limited parking shared with a Subway sandwich shop) but there is a lot of seating. Super popular taco truck in Boyle Heights. Came here on a Sunday morning around 11am and there was already a long line. However the line moves quickly (took about 15 min to order), and then you wait for your number to be called (took about 30 min to get our food). There’s no public bathrooms available.
