Nothing like it used to be. I was charged for a Horchata that I took a sip that tasted like milk and asked for another drink.No flavor. The birria was not as good as it used to be.

The food is fine, but the customer service is a problem. The waitress seemed to be nicer only when a man was at the table. They would check on other tables nearby but often ignored ours. I wouldn’t recommend this place if your group is all women or young people.

Chalio’s is one of the originals of the authentic birria restaurants. Love going there but my last visit I feel was pricey. Breakfast for two was $70 dollars, their menu has no prices on it and that I didn’t like.

Birria tasted way different from the chalio 's on 1st Street.
The chalio's on 1st street is way better.
Better taste on food and way better service.

OMG! The Cafe de Olla was the Best I’ve ever had Hands Down! Chile relleno Spectacular, their tacos are Huge so if you Order 2 be Hungry as the Corn Tortillas are made to order, and about 10” inches round I kid you not. I get the tacos de cabeza, but I’m slowly going to try everything as yes I like to eat lol. Being a Truck Driver you bet I’ve stopped at lots of places to munch, but none have reached the taste I had growing up enjoying all my Mother’s food from Tepatitlan Jalisco. Please stop in, I go to the one off Atlantic Blvd. As Anthony Bordien said when he was there “It doesn’t get any better than this” I’m not trying to make a plug for them I just completely enjoy their food. Tell them Bravo sent you. I really hope you go.

The food is good but Not for the price. Too expensive prices went Up so much! I won't be coming here any longer. Not worth it.
