Best place ever. Super affordable, birria always tastes great and meat is cooked so tenderly. Never had to wait long to order either. I grew up eating at this place and the quality has remained just as good as before.
Birrieria Jalisco is long standing staple in the community, boasting over twenty years of service. Originally located across the street, the restaurant has now taken over the former space of Tacos El Unico, continuing its tradition of serving authentic birria from Jalisco its broth is more of a soupy consistency, the menu features both goat and beef birria along with other delicious dishes like tacos, tortas, sopes and so on.

This establishment is family owned...
The birria is weird soup is decent, but the meat is just plain weird. More than half of my serving was bone the other half giant pieces of hard meat. Chili was nice and spicy service was good. I highly recommend birrieria Cardenas a few blocks away they serve you beans and rice with your order. Although the soup was good, the quality of the meat was off-putting. For that reason I will not be revisiting this place. The Barbacoa is weird too.
