They get 2 stars because their customer service was good they were friendly. Drove across town because I saw reviews were pretty good. It wasn't terrible but portions are small even for 1 person order only comes with 3 tortillas parking is rough and meat wasn't flavorful also too many little bones in the meat easy to break a bone. I prefer Birreria canelos in Maywood or Tlaqueopaque in Huntingtonpark they sell it by the pound.

The birria was some of the best I've ever had.Sadly the serving was very small.And it's pretty pricey for what you get.If you want some authentic real deal birria this is the place.
This was a phenomenal meal. The birria was simply ridiculously good. Exploded with flavor and the meat fell right off the bone. Additionally, the sisters who greeted and helped me were very friendly and kind. I will most certainly be back across town for another bowl again soon.

I LOVE SMALLER FAMILY OWNED BUSINESSES BECAUSE THE FOOD IS TYPICALLY AUTHENTIC. THIS SPOT NOT ONLY GAVE ME SMALL RESTAURANT HOMETOWN VIBES, BUT THE FOOD GAVE ME THE EXPLOSION THAT I LOOK FOR WHEN I'M EATING MEXICAN FOOD. THE HOSTESS GREATED ME AS SOON AS I WALKED IN WITH A HUGE BEAUTIFUL SMILE. SHE LET ME KNOW WHAT THE SPECIALS DISH WAS AND THEN BEGAN TO ASK ME IF I WAS FAMILIAR WITH BIRRIERIA WAS.
