I got food poisoning from the tacos here and the lady with the black facemask & beige hat was so rude with us!! Unbelievable.

I have known them for more than 45 years and eating the tatemada birria, this is the best of Tlaquepaque, everything faithfully original, I recommend it if you are from Jalisco.

Parking: They have another place across the street, it's small, they started there.

Worst service. The woman serving gave my friend who is black such attention that it made me sad to take him. I am a regular there and many of my friends and family go there too. This is the last time I came to eat there, maybe my family was no longer coming nor were my friends. Because of the msl behavior.

This place is nasty found a roach in my food. I will never eat here again.!! Cashier didn’t do nothing about it

In this place is the ridiculous old woman that you can't even get to her parking lot for any reason.

My wife and I went here for lunch. The food was OK. Not great but not bad. After we finished eating, the lady that runs the restaurant came to our table and gave us our bill.
We wanted to talk for a bit after lunch so say for about 5 minutes. The lady came back to our table and with an attitude asked us when we are going to pay for our food and that she doesn’t think we could get away if we dined and dashed. We were shocked. We are in our thirties and tourists from Canada. The last thing we were going to do is run out of the store without paying. She was very rude to assume our intentions. We are in the area twice a year and will NEVER return. Have some respect and just allow us to talk a few moments after we finish eating!!

Really disappointed we order birria from here at least 3/4 times a month since we really enjoy it and it’s on the way home from my husband job but this is the last time we are getting birria from here my husband placed an order for 2 large orders and when he got home we noticed there was 2 of everything except the meat which there was only one packet when we called to let them know after talking to about 4 people we finally tell the guy who took the order and he insisted that there was two and that the girl who packed it confirmed she put two packets of meat. The guy then proceeded to say come for it I will pay for it. It is honestly not worth it since we live 25 min away. If you order from here please confirm that they added everything you paid for since they will try to scam you

I wanted to try this place out so I gave them a chance. When I arrived, the parking lot was virtually empty but while I was collecting my purse and keys, a lady came out asking me to leave if I wasn’t going to eat there. I told her I was gathering my things but she called the police and took pics of my license plate. Wtf. Never returning again.

I was really looking forward to trying this place after hearing some good things, but unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The service was incredibly slow, and it took over 30 minutes just to get my food, even though the restaurant wasn't that busy. When the food finally arrived, it was lukewarm at best. The birria, which is supposed to be their specialty, lacked flavor and was overly greasy. The tortillas were stale, and the portions were much smaller than expected for the price.

To make matters worse, the staff didn't seem very attentive or friendly. When I asked for a side of salsa, it never came, and I had to remind them twice. Overall, the quality of the food and service just didn’t justify the cost. I won't be coming back and can't recommend this place to others.
