We happened by chance at this place and I’m glad that we tried it. We ordered the Jade Curry with tofu, herbal wings and some brown and jasmine rice. The food arrived very quickly. Everything was really delicious, even the brown rice was nice and fluffy. The servings are on the small side though.Parking: The entrance to the parking is one way from Venice Blvd. it is a small parking lot that is shared by several restaurants and laundry so you may or may not have to find parking outside the lot.

Excellent takeout. This is one of our go-to spots. Thank you for existing! We love the Medium spicy Pad Thai!

VEGAN REVIEW I had the medium mild sauce veggie pineapple curry and it honestly tasted so amazing, I had to figure out how to make panangcurry. It seems like these guys basically make the panang $17 dollar dish with added pineapple for $2, ($19) add duck for an addition $2, 21, what?). It was not that big of a portion. The middle size container at Whole Foods. Not the little sliver, the bigger up than that. Small box of rice. Eh. Just for you guys that don't know, because I didn't, a lot of times they include shrimp paste and fish sauce in the curry. I wish they would have mentioned it included fish and shrimp especially. I am really against crustations. My dad is super allergic. I should have asked. I DIDNT, even now. Also, I got veggie, no tofu, and outside of the sauce, the veg was eh. One piece of broccoli, FOUR whole baby tomatoes (why?), there was some cabbage, the celery... idk. Seemed cheap on veg. I started researching this dish because for $19 (not organic) I figured I could make this better myself if I could figure out the sauce, but left disappointed not knowing if it had fish included or not. Won't order again without this allergy information, otherwise, maybe save for a date in restaurant.

This is a small Thai restaurant near downtown Culver City. I got Bangkok rolls with a side of duck meat. They were so good eaten together. I especially loved the sweet dressing underneath the rolls. Neither of them was spicy and that's how I preferred. My mom got beef larb. She had the level 1 spicy and it was very spicy (for her and definitely me). Overall this dish was okay. Not as savory as the Bangkok rolls with duck. We dined in and the service was good. Though they took a little longer to serve our food. Kinda reasonable as our food have nice presentations and were both well made! I recommend this place if you want smaller portions (while reasonably priced).

Stumbled upon this little gem by accident but was so happy that we took a chance. The young woman waiting on us was such a doll. Food was amazing. Had the Pad See Ew, Amber Curry, Mama's Ribs and Tom Kha. Everything was flavorful and we left stuffed. (That good full when you're satisfied but not overly full). Definitely recommend this place. I know I'll be back

Was really hungry and I was going to stop by the taco truck up the street, however I decided to cross the street and see if BKK101 had a lunch special. Which they did! I I had the Pad woo Sen which came with an egg roll and small cabbage salad, it was bomb. The service was fast and everyone I met was so nice and easy going. Really felt like a mom and pop shop. I did not finish the food because I was hungry, I finished it because you can't beat a deal like this and the flavors worked well together. So yea they know what they are doing. As you can see there is nothing left of my order. Thank you staff I will be back!

Came with a group of 7 ~6:30 PM on a Saturday, we were able to be seated immediately. Location: Located in a small strip mall, there was free parking. Ambiance: Very cozy interior with warm lighting. Great vibes for a group dinner. Food: Tom Yum soup was delicious and the large size yielded 7 small bowls. The amber curry was on the runny side, more like soup with chicken, potatoes, and carrots. Flavor was good, though I will say I ordered no spicy but it definitely still had a kick to it. The portion size was reasonable for the price. The tofu in the noodle dishes were a bit hit. Service: Great service, came to refill our waters and checked in on us a couple of times.

Service was great. The waitress was so attentive and kind. Ambience is nice. It feels like a lounge, nice jazz. Duck noodle soup is delicious. It has a nice light broth with egg noodles that are cooked perfectly (they're also sooooo long which was fun). The duck slices are so extremely tender they basically melt in your mouth!! We got the soup mild and there was little to no spice Amber chicken curry was good. The curry is definitely more runny, similar to the consistency of soup. The vegetables were nice and tender and there was plenty of chicken. We got this dish with medium spice and found it to have a nice kick! The medium is definitely spicy but not at all overwhelming. While the curry was good I will mention it also had a veeery light flavor, more so than the soup I would say. Lastly we ordered the pork pad Thai with medium spice. This dish was my favorite of the night. The noodles are so delicious as are the vegetables and the whole dish is bursting with flavor. I absolutely loved that the pad Thai was indeed spicy but it didn't impact the pad Thai flavor at all.

This is always my go to Thai restaurant as they never let me down. The combination chowmein is so darn good. The chicken curry fried rice was ok...tastes more coconutish to me. All in all the food was very tasty!

good and very consistent; maybe a little bland in terms of garlic, onion and fish sauce

Don't be fooled by Mama, she's built a beautiful atmosphere that is best kept in Thailand because the owner asks for tips. The beef was liver. And they were mad that I only paid 18$ for an order of Liver beef and rice. When people assume that a tip should be obligatory but their prices are high and they own the place. Nice stop along the way. Next!

I did a review of BKK101 a few years back, and I still go once in a while. This last meal was exceptional although I just go simple dishes. Got the wonton soup, the Bangkok rolls, and the amber curry w/chicken. It was a lot of food for one person but it was so delish I ate all of it. Beware, when they ask you what spice level, it's Thai spice level. Not American spice level. I got the curry with Medium hot and I'm still sweating and my tongue is pleasantly numb as I write this . It's a bit pricier than the other Thai joints in the area but the food is remarkably better. Fantastic service as well!

Overall, the sticky mango rice (which was seasonal according to the menu) was outstanding. The rice was well steamed, and had the perfect amount of flavor. The coconut milk sauce on the side was good as well. Not to mention the mangos were extremely fresh and sweet. A simple yet delicious dessert. The service provided by the young lady was great as well. Will recommend to try it out before the mangoes go out of season.
