I was really excited that I saw this restaurant on Diners Drives-Ins, Dives. I saw they had collards greens made with smoked turkey. I was disappointed to see at the restaurant the collard greens are made with pork. Make sure next time if you are on tv that what you actually cook and share with viewers that they can actually get what you are advertising. It’s misleading to viewers. My brother and I enjoyed the pork ribs very much. Cornbread was really good too. It was all happy and jolly until the next morning. We both got bad food poisoning. Vomit, diarrhea, chills, severe body aches and stomach pain. It got us out for 3 straight days, agonizing in pain. I had to go to an urgent care. My brother had to change his international flight because he was in no condition to be flying over the pacific.I called the restaurant to let them know but the host who answered my call was pretty nonchalant about it. She mentioned they couldn’t know if it was from their food. I left my name and phone number in case the manager wanted to talk to me, but haven’t heard anything yet.I checked the leftover I stored in the fridge before throwing away. It looked undercooked so I cut them up. They were all severely undercooked. I’m pretty sure it was these ribs that gave me the food poisoning.

VERY good food but extremely expensive. A standard lunch should not cost $50. I felt robbed. Even added an extra charge for a side I never asked for. But I am not that upset because the food is REALLY good.

Best BBQ in LA, hands down. Dinosaur ribs are super delicious and the meat just slides right off the bone. Parking is the only drawback, but service is always great!

First time trying this bbq spot and it was 5 stars all around! All of the servers are top notch and work together to make sure all customers are taken care of and the food is amazing. Highly recommend topping your meal off with the banana pudding!

...ok I have a update..went back a week or so ago and took my family..My daughters didn't like it..Ribs were dry and tough and greens were course and under cooked..took it up with management and bottom line it wasn't taken care of to my satisfaction..Maybe cooks have changed therefore food isn't the same who knows but since management didn't take care of me I wpnt be going back..so at this point they get a fail in March 2024..good bye Bludso's ?‍♂️?

They have the BEST pulled pork sandwich I’ve ever had in my life! Not exaggerating. Hubby had brisket and turkey. They were both cooked to perfection.Kid-friendliness: Spacious and big tables

Wow the brisket is a must have. Melts in your mouth. Love the Mac n cheese and the collard greens. The corn bread with the honey butter of yum. Comes hot. Katie helped us and she was so wonderful and sweet and attentive. Marino was our bus boy and was so helpful when we asked for things. We weren't even in his section. This staff went above and beyond. This is the kind of service that makes me want to return to a place. Thank you to the best bbq on the block!

Good barbecue. Good service. Nice ambiance. Potato salad had way too much mustard and relish. Had a sour taste. Could've used more mayonnaise. I make better mac-n-cheese. Meat, beans & greens were on point.

The food here at the La Brea location was even better than Santa Monica. Best hush puppies west of the Mississippi!

i’m gonna be honest with you the ribs were not good. The sausage was not good. The beans were not good. The fries were very good. The cornbread was excellent. The barbecue sauce was good to be honest with you. I will not be coming back here, but our waiter was a very nice guy place was empty. I should have seen the red flag that the place was empty, it was Texas food. I’m sure it would be busy so I will be sticking to Tony Romas. They are the best this place. I don’t recommend it personally unless you want to get some good cornbread or fries. The rest is not doable for me.Kid-friendliness: our waiter was awesomeWheelchair accessibility: plenty of room for a wheelchair

The food was ok and overpriced. Portions were skimpy. $22 for four rib tips was ridiculous. We were seated and only brought plates and utensils after the party that arrived after us was taken care of. I brought this to our servers' attention, and he apologized. He ended up being really nice. Unfortunately, I will not return.
