Great coffee, delicious avocado toast, and super friendly baristas
Pro tip: snag one of the rear booths if you want to get some work done
Only drawback is high latency in WiFi. I use my hotspot for tasks where this makes a difference, but it’s worth noting.

Really love this Blue Bottle location in Playa Vista. The café has a cute, modern vibe that makes it a great spot to hang out or grab a quick coffee. The matcha and coffee are both excellent, smooth and well balanced without being too bitter. The staff are super friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. Definitely one of my go-to coffee spots in the area.

Has one of the best matchas in LA (for those who actually value ceremonial matcha and don't like sweet matcha drinks). I order the matcha cappuccino for just $6. It's not that different from the latte and you can actually taste more of the matcha.

Blue Bottle Coffee has a sleek, modern vibe and takes coffee seriously—but unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to expectations.
The space is minimalist and clean, and the baristas are knowledgeable. However, service felt cold and rushed. It took longer than expected to get a simple latte, and during a morning rush, they forgot my name and order modifications.
The coffee itself was fine, but not remarkable—smooth and balanced, but pricey for what it is. I ordered a single-origin pour‑over and a drip coffee, and both tasted similar. At over $5 for a latte and $4 for drip, it doesn’t feel like good value.
In short: good aesthetic and decent beans, but overpriced with impersonal service. I’d consider a local café next time.

The iced lavender latte is amazing!! It’s a cute little spot with some seating options. We got some breakfast sandwiches as well that were pretty good.
Good coffee, pastries, and service.

Very chi chi but felt worth it. Love the LA people coming in and out with all their trendy looks. The staff were super. Didn't talk down to anyone, very service oriented, focused on the customers. Coffee is A+

I’m extremely disappointed with the way this cafe treats mothers and children. As a parent, I expect at least a basic level of respect and understanding, but unfortunately, that was not the case here.
The barista, Chris, was visibly irritated by the presence of toddlers. He kept telling them not to touch anything, even though they were behaving just fine- just curious and respectful.
This kind of attitude is not only unprofessional, it’s downright discriminatory. I would not recommend this place to any parent.
