Great new spot for Indian food. Definitely recommend this over Mr. tandoori’s here in Pueblo. As an Indian myself, I definitely recommend this food.

Fantastic food! We ordered the chicken biryani, lamb saag, and salted lassi. We also had some great tea, which was a lovely prelude to the meal.

We recently visited **Bollywood Bites in Westwood** to celebrate a birthday with a group of nine people, and it turned out to be a memorable evening filled with great food, fun company, and even a celebrity sighting!
We started with **vegetable pakoras**, which were crispy, flavorful, and a perfect way to kick off the meal. The **chicken tikka** and **tandoori chicken** were both tender, juicy, and well-seasoned with that perfect smoky flavor from the tandoor. The **lamb tikka** was another hit — rich, aromatic, and cooked just right. One of our group ordered the **Thali shrimp tandoori**, which came beautifully presented and bursting with flavor; it offered a wonderful balance of spice and texture.
For dessert, we tried both **kheer** and **gulab jamun** (the menu called it “Gilman jammun”), and they were the perfect sweet ending. The kheer was creamy and lightly spiced, while the gulab jamun was warm, soft, and soaked in syrup — absolutely delicious.
The only downside was the **service**, which was on the slower side. The restaurant was **packed**, so it was understandable, but we did have to wait a bit longer than expected between courses. Still, the staff was friendly and accommodating once they got to us.
**Parking** in the Westwood area can be hit or miss — we managed, but it took a little patience to find a spot.
The highlight of the evening, aside from the food, was unexpectedly meeting a **celebrity from the band Earth, Wind & Fire**
Overall, we had a **wonderful time**. Bollywood Bites is a lively spot with fantastic Indian flavors, a warm atmosphere, and plenty of energy. It’s great for groups, celebrations, or anyone looking for authentic Indian cuisine in Westwood. We’ll definitely be back — maybe next time when it’s a little less busy.

The food was pretty tasty — especially impressed by the variety and generous portions. The cinnamon on the gulab jamun was an unusual combo, but it actually didn’t work ! However, the service really needs improvement — no greeting, and the staff came off quite rude. Great food, but poor service experience overall.

Kudos to Chef Patel for his incredible personal touch with every guest. He’s not just a celebrity chef — he makes you feel like the celebrity! His positivity and high energy shine through in every dish. We especially love the Indo-Chinese selections — bold, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Bring on more! Los Angeles is ready to savour Indo-Chinese cuisine!

The star is definitely the food, as the atmosphere and service are not worth discussing. That being said the chicken tandoori was perfectly cooked and spiced, while its lamb equivalent was no where near fork tender although still flavorful.

The chicken tikla masala was really good. Naan, rice, raita was also good. They served plain ice cream as kulfi, the menu showed actual kulfi. They made up some excuses about the kulfi, it was unfortunate.
